30 Moving Linden Community Schools Forward FAQ Close Argentine and move programs to another building we are not in a position to close Argentine. Argentine does not use general fund monies, and logistically it will not work right now. Argentine currently uses eleven classrooms for their programs. Other thinking points include inspections, funding, and etc. Closing a building could possibly be a discussion for the future. Increase Pay to Participate an increase in PTP would reduce the amount of monies used from the general fund. In , $74, (774 students MS/HS) was generated in PTP revenue. In , the Athletic Department was allotted $419,0453. Determining the level of balance between risk and reward could be tricky. If students do not participate because of the increase in pay we may end up using more monies from the general fund than we currently do. 31
