Designed for both permanent and retrievable IVC Filter placement, the Argon Option TM IVC Filter offers the safety and stability required for permanent placement coupled with proven long term retrievability. Suitable for caval diameters up to 32mm, with no minimal caval restrictions, and deployed via a 6.5Fr OD (5Fr ID) x 70cm low-profile delivery sheath with infusion port, Option s precise placement is aided by the use of an innovative over-thewire curved pusher system. The spiral coiled sheath provides increased column strength and kink-resistance for ease of tracking, pushability, and delivery. Dilator, with 32mm spaced radiopaque markers for rapid vena cava measurement and helix formation end-holes compatible with power injectors up to 800 psi. Single, colour coded filter cartridge for Femoral or Jugular placement. Durable, one piece design of filter reduces the risk of fracture caused by bending stress 2. Resilient, electropolished, nitinol hypotube filter construction improves resistance to fracture caused by cyclic stress 1. The transitionless and sturdy design of the hook allows for ease of snaring and reduced risk of hook deformation during retrieval. The stable filter base conforms to the caval anatomy, reducing caval penetration 3 and aids in centering the filter whilst innovative retention anchors are designed to prevent caudal and cephalid migration. The 1Stic TM micro tapered dilator transitions from 0.5Fr (for micro-access guidewire) to maximum French size whilst the Flex Collar, with Suture Tab, reduces kinking risk and provides a convenient suture site.
