4 GENERAL This is a proposal for a type T1.14 roadheader. The Aker Wirth roadheaders of the T1 series are suitable for rock up to 80 MPa average UCS with even higher peak loads. Technical description Aker Wirth T1.14 Please find attached the technical description of the T1.14. The machine layout is detailed in our drawing. Remark Standards The machine is standard equipped with radio remote control The installed cutting capacity amounts 200 kw. The machine is equipped with an electric control system. The electric case is in a non-flame-proof version The machine is equipped with a longitudinal cutting head The main advantages of the chosen longitudinal cutterhead are: Excellent performance in medium hard rock. Certificates Costs for any certification (ex proof ect.) are not included in the sales price Payment terms All prices for the material supplies and/or the assembly, the commissioning and the service performances which have to be accomplished by the seller are understood without legal turnover- (VAT-) tax. Costs for demonstration and commissioning, respectively, may be drawn from the enclosed conditions for the delegation of personnel. Our quotation is made without engagement, and the prices for the delivery have to be understood ex works, packing excluded, based on our usual standard terms and conditions for sale of goods. Customs dues, taxes and consular fees based on the import regulations, all governmental and local taxes and other expenses which arise out of the import of our goods into the country of destination, must be paid by the party that places the order. Payment: The terms of payment will by definitively defined during the final negotiations and have to be based on a neutral cash flow. The payments will be secured by irrevocable, confirmed and divisible letter of credit, domiciled in the Federal Republic of Germany, which is to be opened within 30 days after receipt of our confirmation of order, collectible after delivery against presentation of shipping documents. The letter of credit should permit partial shipments. 7 We recommend that you send your engineers (max. 2 persons for 2 weeks) to our works during the final assembly and commissioning in our factory for training purposes. This training will include mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects of the machine. In addition to the technical understanding of the equipment, special attention will be given to the preventive maintenance of the machine. The factory training itself will be free of charge. Wirth will take also care on accommodations in Erkelenz. The customer is responsible for transport costs of their personnel. Jobsite assembly The jobsite assembly and the commissioning will take 2-3 weeks, depending on the logistical situation at the jobsite. Wirth will provide free of charge 2 man-weeks for a service engineer, who will supervise the assembly, commissioning and training on the jobsite. The training will focus mainly of the safety aspects and the operation of the machine, as well as the practical side of the preventive maintenance of the machine. This will take place in the remaining time after commissioning. Assembly on site is executed by customer s personnel under the supervision of Aker Wirth service engineer. The Jobsite has to provide all auxiliary facilities for the assembly on site. Documentation For Service, proper maintenance and operation of the equipment please refer to the operating and maintenance manuals. Operators manual in English, (CD-rom) Spare part list in English, (CD-rom) Standard Toolbox A standard toolbox for the T1.14 is included in the price of the machine Aker Wirth travel health policy According to Aker Solutions / Aker Wirth travel health policy for travelling, working and staying in countries with exposure to certain risks (see international SOS web page) special precautions and planning might be required. In the service prices offered no costs for such measures are included. The responsibility for adequate security measures and risk control has to be taken by the customer. Further details of the service support have to be discussed according to jobsite conditions and the actual risk evaluation. Remark: The delivery time may vary according to the options chosen This quotation is subject to prior sales. TECHNICAL WARRANTY Supplier warrants a technical guarantee on all equipment for a period of 12 months after start-up on the jobsite, but no longer than 15 months after delivery ex works. This warranty does not include wear and tear parts. VALIDITY OF THE OFFER The offer is valid for 1 month from the date of signature of this quotation.
