6 EW400 series Advanced Heat-Pipe thermal solution for Fanless design EW400 is equipped with an innovative thermal solution, which is designed with copper aluminum heat-sink and four copper vacuum tube liquid-vapors (Heat-Pipe) which have high efficiency for heat dissipation. The rugged mechanical structure improves the cooling efficiency and maintains superior computing performances that are stable at high temperature environments without CPU throttling. How it works The tubes liquid-vapor rapidly and continuously transfers heat from the heat-source (Evaporator), to the heat-sink (Condenser). The vapor transports heat to the condenser region where the condensed vapor releases heat to a cooling medium. The condensed working fluid is returned to the evaporator by gravity, or by the heat pipe s wick structure, creating capillary action.
