2 1. FIRST STEP AND COMPULSORY Go to the International Relations Service, University of Valencia, welcome meeting To get your Certificate of arrival 2

SECOND STEP and compulsory - Go to the welcome meeting at the Faculty of Law The date will be published on the web - Enrollment at the Faculty of Law, usually the week before the beginning of the classes (according to the instructions sent via aproximately one month before the begining of classes) 3

4 Enrollment rules(1) - First semester students can only choose first semester courses (never annuals nor second semester) - Second semester students can only choose second semester courses (never annuals nor first semester) - 9 ECTS courses are always annual. - Annual students can choose first and second semester, and annual courses. - ECTS cannot be modified. When a course has 9 ECTS cannot be divided. 4

5 Enrollment rules (2) Incoming students CANNOT be enrolled in the following groups: - SD Licenciatura (No Classes) - groups T (Postgrade), - Master classes. Minimum 50% of the choosen ECTS must belong to the Faculty of Law. It is advisable that semestral students enroll a minimum of 18 ECTS and a maximum of 36 ECTS, and annual students a minimum of 36 ECTS and a maximum of 72 ECTS. Also another Faculty s courses can be enrolled All courses must be enrolled at the Faculty of Law, except language courses from Centro de Idiomas. 5

6 EXAMS Every student has two opportunities to pass an exam (first and second call) The second call can only be used when the first call has not been taken, or it has been failed. 6

7 After the enrollment(1) Students will get a payment document of aproximately 7,00 which must be paid at the Bank Office (for student card and insurance) When they bring this document paid, they ll get username and a password for their account usuario@alumni.uv.es. With this account they ll have acces to login : - U.V. mailbox - Aula virtual of the enrolled groups - Aula virtual of Incoming Students Comunity. - Virtual Secretary to see timetables,etc.. 7

8 After the enrollment (2) Comunication with the University of Valencia, teaching and non teaching staff will only be with this account Students will get their student card once they bring the receipt from the bank. 8

9 Enrollment changes Professors never do the enrollment, nor the changes. These changes can only be done at the Faculty International Relations Office (E02). Changes deadlines: First semester courses: From October 1st until Octuber 31st. Second semester and annual courses: From March 1st until March 31st. When changing the enrollment the Learning Agreement must be changed too, this change is not automatic. Learning agreement and enrollment sheets are two different documents but must contain the same courses. 9

10 AT THE END OF THE STAY Make sure that both, Learning agreement and changes are signed, and the student must keep the original document. The Faculty of Law UV will send replace the last part of the learningagreement after de mobility with the transcript of records, which will be sent to the Faculty of origin and to the student, after the end of the stay. Partial Transcript of records will not be sent, unless previous requirement of the Faculty of origin 10
