To Alice, TV5 is a bridge between her native country and her country of adoption. Joanne, 44, lives in Lévis with her partner Luc and their two teenage children. She has been in charge of fundraising for the Opéra de Québec for six years and is still just as enthusiastic about her job. Joanne and Luc are both passionate about arts and culture. When they aren t spending time at their cottage in Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges with their sons, they like to visit Quebec City s galleries, exhibitions and concerts. To Joanne, TV5 is a cultural showcase open to the world. Richard is a 58-year-old executive who seems to get younger every day. Since his daughter moved out of their Boucherville home, he and his partner Jacinthe have taken up cycling again and now ride 3,000 km a year. Richard has reduced his work schedule to a four-day week and uses the extra time to take correspondence courses in history. He and Jacinthe have always been big travellers. They plan to take a sabbatical to tour Asia. To Richard, TV5 is like travelling without leaving home.
