Principles and development of graphics and web design. 2 Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, students should: 1. Explain how the Web works. CFPO #3; INTASC #4 2. Describe how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are used to create webpages. Synthesize Web graphics, design principles, and production skills to create an attractive and readable website interface. CFPO #2, 3, 4, 5, 10; INTASC #4 6. Take an exam covering the information presented in the course. (Course Objectives #1, 2, 4) 4. Evaluate websites. (Course Objectives #1, 2) 5. Students will design planning documents. (Course Objectives #3, 5, 6, 7) 6. Students will design and develop websites. (Course Objectives #3, 5, 7) 7. Graduate students will complete and present article critiques, as approved by the instructor.
