The conference features a variety of workers compensation experts from the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers Compensation, other state and public agencies, and the private sector. Continuing Education Credits Participants may be eligible for continuing education credits for conference attendance. Application has been made for credits in the following occupations: attorneys (CLE), carriers (CE credit) and rehabilitation providers (CEU for CRC, CDMS and CCM). Credits are approved for Certified Workers Compensation Professionals through Michigan State University. Something for Everyone The Texas Workers Compensation Educational Conference offers over 30 general and breakout sessions covering common questions and current issues affecting the workers compensation system. Both new and seasoned system participants will receive valuable information to help them appropriately interact within the system. Sessions will address topics such as the TDI-DWC Sunset Review, benefits, reporting and data exchange, treatment and billing guidelines, return-to-work best practices, dispute processes and resolution, TDI-DWC rules update, system monitoring and enforcement, and many more. In addition, exhibitor acknowledges that the The Hyatt Regency Hotel and Renaissance Dallas-Richardson Hotel, Chelsea Place Meetings, and the IWCF do not maintain insurance covering exhibitors property or potential liabilities and that it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain business interruption insurance, property damage insurance and liability insurance covering such losses by exhibitor. Exhibitor shall obtain and keep in force during the term of the installation and use of the exhibit premises, policies or comprehensive general liability insurance and contractual liability insurance. Insurance insuring and specifically referring to contractual liability set forth in the foregoing paragraphs hereof, in an amount not less than $1,000, combined single limit for personal injury and property damage.
