All our engineers are officially accredited with our hardware vendors to ensure you receive first class technical support whenever you need it. Any equipment that we provide is covered by warranty and, in the unlikely event you should suffer a hardware failure, you can relax knowing Schools Broadband will take total financial and technical care to resolve the issue. 4 Connections and Speeds FTTC (Superfast Broadband) BT is rolling out Superfast 21CN broadband around the country and we ll be able to tell you if this is currently available in your area, or when it s expected. Unlike many broadband providers, we have a very simple pricing structure. Simply choose the package that best suits your school s needs and for a flat rate service fee, we ll give you the fastest possible speed for your chosen package that s available in your area. EoFTTC Schools Broadband was one of the first companies to provide Ethernet over Fibre to the Cabinet (EoFTTC). Superior to FTTC and similar to a leased line, EoFTTC offers guaranteed capacity, so even if the number of users increases it won t affect the speed of your connection. Hundreds of schools are taking advantage of the higher bandwidth connectivity that EoFTTC offers, without the higher price tag of a leased line. Dedicated Leased Line If you require high speed broadband and you re in an area without access to Superfast Broadband, we can install a dedicated leased line. Recommended for larger primary schools, a dedicated leased line will give you speeds of up to 1Gbit with a 1:1 contention ratio as the line isn t shared with anybody else. You ll have the same upload and download speeds and the service comes with a service level agreement. We can offer Direct Fibre and Ethernet First Mile (EFM). We have access to all the different types of leased line technologies from multiple wholesale providers (BT, Virgin, Kcom etc) to ensure you get the best possible speed at the best possible price. 04

Lightspeed Systems works directly with governments worldwide to ensure their URL lists are blocked, including the Home Office terrorism block list. To be compliant, school web filtering systems should allow staff to view and report on internet activity at an individual user level.
