In overtime, Furman s Danny Kierath nailed a free kick past the Mercer goalkeeper, securing a 2-1 victory over the Bears in the 95th minute. Furman holds the all-time advantage at The Paladins are on its home turf vs. ETSU, but are winless in the last two attempts. The two sides have tied 0-0 in each of the last three contests. Eleven of the 12 games between the foes have ended in shutouts for one of the teams (only exception was a 1-1 tie back in 2012). ETSU is 5-1 in games decided by one goal this season.
