Right Estate Agents and Right Letting Agents were created in 2010 to provide an alternative to the traditional estate agent, which is perceived to be an expensive, antiquated model, offering poor customer service. The financial conditions surrounding estate agency demanded a change and processes needed updating to embrace new technology and communication media that are now available. Why we are passionate about these changes? Although other industries had achieved significant improvements and efficiencies using new technology, the same was not true of the estate agency business. Although there were some Internet Estate Agent options, there was a fundamental omission from that model the human touch. Customers like to deal with local people who they can trust and really care about first class service. The Right Estate/Letting Agents franchise model is the perfect solution, offering an incredible service for a reasonable fee. 4 About the MD- Alison Bannon I began my career in 1992 aged just 23yrs as a Mortgage Consultant in a busy High Street corporate estate agents. I very quickly learned the business of estate agency from the inside out, working ten hour days six days a week to cope with the massive volume of house sales during the boom. It was and is my mission to offer an excellent service to everyone I come into contact with. As an Area Manager, I was always disappointed that service standards and customer satisfaction were never a topic of discussion: everyone was only interested in the financial results and I vowed never to get involved in this business again. I also learnt of the technical advances that had affected estate agency, particularly internet marketing and subsequently set up an online lettings business, which quickly became very successful. This prompted me to research how the High Street estate agency business had changed and I was horrified to learn that everything was the same, if not worse. High commissions were being charged for a poor service and I knew the time was right to change the face of estate agency and offer excellent customer service and transparent charging. So 18 months on, I am now working with people who are passionate about property, and have a completely different ethos and set of standards. They commented that Some expenses can t be avoided when moving home, but with a few smart decisions you can make sure you are not paying more than you need to. The remaining 20% find properties by being in touch with local agents, driving around their area of choice (spotting boards) and also from hearing about properties on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
