1. Introduction Introduction Into The Little Foxes Club The Little Foxes Club provides fun sports sessions for toddlers and pre-school children in a friendly and sociable environment, making learning easy. The face of Little Foxes are our teams of encouraging and dedicated coaches who provide enjoyable active sessions for young ones, keeping them fit, constantly developing their skills and building confidence in each child, leading to invaluable social skills for their future. 2. Overview With all the headlines warning of worsening childhood obesity and the euphoria around upcoming sporting events, The Little Foxes Club was launched in We capitalised on the increasing need for a professional, upmarket, and well run children s coaching company, as opposed to the stereotypical one man band coach with a bag of footballs over his shoulder! The Little Foxes Club coach children the right way; with permission to use all locations, full insurance covering every child who attends our classes and fully qualified coaches who have all been CRB checked and first aid trained. We implement a structured approach, in areas of support, custom software suites, web applications, advertising, marketing, and media exposure to name a few. Our growth and success has come from the fact that our clubs are run by professionals who are organised, dynamic and adopt a pro-active approach. Our business is strengthened by the sector s resilience during recessions. Research has found that parents are reluctant to compromise their children s health and wellbeing and prefer to cut back on nearly any other area of their life. Read what the press say! This sports club is totally brilliant; the fantastic coaches are so inspiring with their enthusiasm that seeing them in action will make you want to enrol your children immediately. This is muddy knees, mini goals, proper football, and they LOVE it. They do tennis, rugby and even children s parties. A joy. Angels and Urchins Magazine, Spring 2010 The Little Foxes Club is in the process of appointing franchisees nationwide who will have sole rights to operate the brand in a protected territory of their choice. We are members of the British Franchise Association (bfa) and the International Franchise Association (IFA) abiding by their code of ethics. Our team have developed relationships with several Local Councils, the FA, the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and many corporate businesses and charities. Amongst others we support the Join(RED) charity campaign. With hard work, dedication and an easy initial set up procedure, in the first year a franchise owner can expect a turnover of about 130k, rising to 150k in the second year and then 175k in year three. Due to the nature of the business, direct costs and overheads are kept minimal. The initial investment needed is competitive in comparison to others in the market.

3. The Little Foxes Club and YOU The Little Foxes Club Through exceptional training, service and support, we help our franchise owners to achieve their dreams of building a profitable and successful club that also benefits the local community. When recruiting for franchisees, The Little Foxes Club does not have set profiles. We have found that our franchise owners have done fantastically well coming from all different backgrounds of life. Our package suits a broad spectrum of potential owners, from university leavers, to mums with young children. With flexible options, The Little Foxes Club can be run part-time or on a full-time basis. Your franchise can be formed as a sole trader or a limited company. You might choose to manage the business on your own, with family or friends. Our current franchisees are of both sexes and have diverse levels of experience working with children. If you decide to take this opportunity you will be able to choose an experienced project manager who will work alongside you, guiding and advising you on your first steps to becoming a successful Little Foxes Franchisee. We know that franchisees are in business for themselves, but at The Little Foxes Club you are not by yourself, we provide help and support every step of the way. Adam Wims - Director of Franchising And 4. The Product YOU The beauty of our product is the uniqueness of the service. Our trademarked age-appropriate programmes have been custom designed to ensure that each child can develop their physical, mental and social skills at their own pace. Detailed term programmes allow you and your coaching team to easily deliver an excellent standard of classes. To add diversity and appeal, you will be provided with session plans that cover each class, every week for the duration of the term. To ensure your club remains innovative and ahead of the competition our research department continuously develop new term programmes. This allows you to save time, focusing on increasing membership and revenue. Operation Your Little Foxes franchise will operate forty-four weeks a year. This is organised in-line with the national school terms. Our clubs provide three twelve week programmes and one eight week summer course. Classes are generally run between Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and on Saturday mornings. Parents pre-register children onto classes on a selected day and time slot for the duration of the term course. Target Market According to the latest census in the UK there are 4.4 million children aged between 18months and 5yrs old. In order to achieve your year one target turnover you need 288 children enrolled per term. The protected territory that you will receive will contain a minimum number of nurseries, schools and families to help you reach that target. You are welcome to visit in person our Flagship Central London Club which regularly exceeds 1000 children enrolled per term.

5. Buying a Franchise 7. Support and Training The Little Foxes Club aim to give franchises a local feel supported by a national brand. Initial Investment The Little Foxes Club franchises are sold on the open market for VAT*. A working capital of approximately 500 is mandatory. *Finance is available through leading financial institutions Management Fees The Little Foxes Club management company charges franchisees fees on an ongoing basis. These fees are charged as a percentage of the monthly turnover of the franchisee. Currently the management fees are set at 15% + VAT. At The Little Foxes Club Head Office, our dedicated team provides all the knowledge and advice needed to help you find the right location, market your club to your target audience and recruit quality and reliable coaches. We have invested heavily using the latest technology to create a fully bespoke web based CRM system. This system contains everything a franchisee needs to run their business and provides our head office team the tools to support the franchise network effectively. All information is recorded and continuously synchronised with your BMS. Daily reports can be viewed at the end of each day allowing you to keep up-to-date with all the registrations and bookings at your club. By taking this approach franchisees have time to concentrate on delivering the best service to their customers, and improve brand recognition. The central admin system allows you to keep overheads low and maximise your profit margin. 6. A web based document library is accessible for you to gain access to your franchise manuals, marketing materials and any other files that need to be stored safely. Our system is all about saving you time and money and for that reason, our secure online booking system is fully integrated and synchronised into your BMS. We are the only children s sports club with the ability to take class registers and manage attendance records via any mobile phone with an internet connection, such as an iphone or blackberry cutting down daily printing costs and saving you time. Using our statistics and reporting tools you can analyse data within the system. The BMS can produce numerous reports, from re-enrolment rates to how many parents have more than one child. Any information relating to your database can be reported on instantly and clearly. 6 8. Growing YOUR Franchise Growing Your Little Foxes Club Franchise Our business was deliberately set up with multiple income streams in order to maximise profitability and financial safety. The great thing about The Little Foxes Club is that although we provide football classes, once you have established a customer base you can maximise your earning potential by offering other popular sports, like tennis and rugby. By providing both indoor and outdoor classes The Little Foxes Club is one step ahead of the competition. We enjoy the safety of an indoor location throughout the winter months. The potential of an outdoor venue for the remaining nine months of the year is the main source of income. During the outdoor season, our franchisees can offer more classes during the same hour and not have the limitations of a hall that can only fit one class of children at a time. Another way that our franchisees have increased revenue is by arranging additional classes throughout the day. This can be public sessions or private classes involving groups of friends. Sports birthday parties are a great way of increasing club turnover. Every child has a birthday and based on the assumptions that franchisees hit their minimum target criteria of 288 children per term, every day 3 children will have a birthday. From these figures, if franchisees arrange just 4 parties a month they can increase their annual turnover by 12,000. Current franchisees have grown their businesses by catering for the five years plus market. This can be discussed with your project manager. Our flagship club is testament to the huge earnings potential of a well run Little Foxes Club and regularly exceeds a turnover of 500,000 per annum. When you make a success of your first franchise you can purchase a new territory to further expand your business profile.

9. FAQ s Frequently Asked Questions Franchise questions I do not have the initial investment, how can you help me? We have arrangements with leading financial institutions allowing you to apply for start up capital to purchase a franchise. We have even included the repayment of finance over six months in our year 1 financial business model. This can be sent upon request. Is it a full time or part time business? This depends entirely on you. Due to the flexibility of the business you can work on it full time or only for a set amount of hours per week. There are a minimum number of hours that you need to operate your club for per week. Your project manager can discuss with you. Do I need to have a venue in mind? It is great if you already have an area that you think will make a perfect location for a franchise. If you are not sure, there is no need to worry we can use our location finder to help you find a suitable venue. Do I need insurance? Publicity liability insurance is compulsory for all Little Foxes Clubs. We benefit from a group discount scheme through our insurers. Your project manager will help you to arrange cover. How big is my territory? All the territories given to franchisees have been formulated using the latest datasets and census information. After choosing an area, we will assign a suitable territory that will include the following criteria; a minimum number of schools, nurseries and families to ensure that you maximise your revenue potential. Class questions Do the classes get cancelled in bad weather? No, our policies protect you. Coaches are always present to take the class no matter what the weather conditions. If parents feels the conditions are not right for their children they can arrange a makeup class by calling the office and rearranging that particular class for a more suitable time. What happens if a child has an accident? Injures are part of sport but we have designed our programmes to limit the risk of this as much as possible. If a child does have an accident, there will always be a coach who is first aid trained. Do my coaches need to be qualified and Police screened (CRB checked) All members of The Little Foxes Club need to be fully CRB checked and from November 2010 all members will need to be on the ISA register. We can help you to do this. How do I arrange indoor venues for the winter months? An indoor hall should be booked in advance at least three months before the beginning of the winter term. From our experience this gives you enough time to secure a location close to your home grounds.

10. What Our Franchisees Say What People Say About The My experience with the Little Foxes club started in April 2009 when I registered my two year old daughter on to one of their courses at the Holland Park club. I didn t want her stuck inside a hall and was shocked about the limited amount of outdoor sports clubs available for preschool children. Before enrolling my daughter for a Little Foxes term, my perception of children s sports was one coach chasing an overcrowded class of kids around a field. Little Foxes were a refreshing surprise; instead of the one coach with a couple of goals and footballs they had an organised structure. Before the first class I made by booking through their online system, paid via card and was given clear and precise information from a member of their admin team about the class. On the day of the class, I was greeted by a supervisor, checked in on the register and escorted with my daughter to her correct session. The coaches were energetic, imaginative and entertaining. They displayed patience and understanding even showing me a manual of what they would be doing for the whole term. The emphasis was really focused on fun and learning through play. The Saturday morning classes really caught my eye and made me start to think of the Little Foxes club as more than my daughter s football sessions. Saturday s were more like an event, there were twenty or more coaches all in uniform, company branding everywhere and over two hundred children per hour all organised into age groups wearing different bibs corresponding to the colour of the pitch they were on. By early July 2009 I had called the Franchising Department to discuss the opportunity of opening a club close to my local area; Chiswick. Michael Kusi and the team were very welcoming yet professional. Straight away I could see why others invest in them, the systems they had in place and the support they offered. I had signed the contract by the end of the month and worked closely with my project manager, opening my franchise at the beginning of Sep I have grown steadily and really benefited from all my admin and bookings being taken care off, leaving me to concentrate on getting more children signed up and earning more money. It helps as well that I do not have to get childcare for my daughter, she benefits from my franchise just as much as I do. Ivana Davis Chiswick Club Franchisee Little Foxes 11. What Our Parents Say Club Francesca (3) attends a weekday morning class; the coaches are brilliant with her. I love it to because I know she is safe with Little Foxes, which gives me time to catch up on the shopping from the local high street. As with most three year olds, Francesca can be in a stubborn mood when she wakes up. Little Foxes have been very understanding and flexible about rearranging her classes to suit my little madam! Mrs Emilia Dolce Hyde Park Club My son Oliver aged five had difficultly at school during his PE lessons and did not show an interest in sport. He was quiet and self-conscious around his peers. I enrolled him at Little Foxes to improve his confidence and show him that sport can be fun. From the beginning Coach Shaun understood my son, and after the first lesson Oliver could not wait to attend again. Shaun worked with him; built up his confidence and selfesteem, which made a huge difference at Oliver s school. Oliver is now always asking his dad to bring him to the park to play football. On reflection, Little Foxes classes have really helped to develop my little boy. Mrs Sarah Jane Barker Brook Green Club I can t recommend Little Foxes strongly enough- they really are the best. The coaches are amazing - not only very talented at sports but also brilliant with children. Matthew (8) has been going since last autumn and loves it so much he does football at the weekend, tennis, holiday camps and still wants Little Foxes for his Birthday Party! (They do superb kids parties by the way). Mr Toby Poynder Holland Park Club
