1 Career Services Alumni Survey Report Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions 2012 Graduates Summary Career Services conducted a survey of the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions (RHCHP) 2012 graduates during the spring of 2013, to ascertain their employment and graduate education status after graduation. A list of the RHCHP 2012 graduates was obtained from the Academic Records/Registration Department. That list contained the names of 806 graduates, along with pertinent contact information needed to proceed with the survey. The first stage of the survey involved sending messages to each of the alumni on the survey list requesting their participation in taking the online survey. The message included a link to the survey, which was designed to be completed in less than five minutes. The survey questionnaire was very similar to the one used for the survey concurrently conducted of the Regis College 2012 graduates. However, there were some differences based on revisions suggested by RHCHP administrators and faculty. The survey was generated through Campus Labs, LLC (formerly StudentVoice), a vendor that Regis University s Student Life Division has contracted with to provide a platform and advisory resources for surveys of students and alumni. The initial request was followed by a second request to those alumni who had not taken the survey. A total of 74 alumni took the survey in response to both requests, which represented about 9 of the total number of alumni solicited. This response rate was materially lower than the 21 rate from last year s requests. We intended to increase the response rate by proceeding with a second stage of the survey that solicited participation using computer assisted telephone interviews (CATI). This is the same procedure we followed in prior surveys of RHCHP and Regis College graduates. We engaged Resolution Research & Marketing, Inc. (Resolution Research) to conduct the CATI second stage of the survey, the same company we previously used for this purpose. Resolution Research is located in Denver, Colorado and has been engaged in this business for more than 20 years, with high-profile clients that included major colleges and universities. Through the efforts of Resolution Research, an additional 290 alumni took the survey, giving us a total of 364 respondents, representing a survey response rate of about 45, lower than the 52 rate we achieved last year.
