As always, we welcme any suggestins and feedback yu might have.

2 It is imprtant t understand that because these lcal plans vary greatly, we smetimes have t resrt t methds f entering infrmatin that are less straightfrward and that require clser attentin n the part f the user than ther areas f the sftware. Additinally, the Chapter 13 plan by its very nature is prbably the mst cmplicated dcument filed in a cnsumer bankruptcy case and requires detailed legal knwledge. Please understand that yu must always prfread every plan t ensure that it has printed as expected and that the plan accurately reflects the debtr s intentins. This sftware is far frm flprf. It is very pssible fr an inexperienced user t prduce an incmplete r inaccurate plan. It is the respnsibility f the attrney t review every plan prir t filing it. Best Case Slutins technical supprt staff can advise yu n the peratin f the sftware, such as hw t get a claim t print as yu want n the frm, but the actual decisin abut hw t classify a given claim is a legal questin that must be reslved by the respnsible attrney. The Best Case technical supprt staff des nt and can nt dispense legal advice. In additin, yur lcal trustee can mdify r change the Chapter 13 plan requirements, practices r the frmat f the plan at any time. It is the respnsibility f the attrney representing the debtr t ensure that lcal rules and practices are adhered t. Ntes abut this Custm 13 Plan Attrney s Fees and Filing Fees: Yu can input attrney s fees and filing fees t be paid thrugh the plan in the Claims tab f the Chapter 13 Plan Calculatr. Attrney s fees will appear in Sectin F. 2 Custm Entry Screens: Yur plan includes tw custm entry screens in which yu can enter additinal infrmatin n yur Chapter 13 Plan. A special Lcal 13 Plan Creditr entry screen has been added t allw yu t enter additinal infrmatin fr creditrs in Sectins 3, 4 and 5. T access this screen pen a creditr in Schedule D, E, r F, click the 13 Plan Treatment tab, then click the Lcal 13 Plan Treatment buttn, lcated in the lwer left crner f the creditr entry screen. Use the AZ 13 Plan Inf entry screen t enter additinal infrmatin in Sectins A, F, G, H and J f yur Chapter 13 Plan. T access this screen pen the Chapter 13 Plan Calculatr then click the AZ 13 Plan Inf buttn in the upper right crner. Frm Preferences: Yur custm plan includes special frm preferences: Include Prperty Tax claims in Sectin C.4. Include Cnduit Mrtgage language in Sectin A.1. Permanently add text t Sectin J, Varying Prvisins.

Exclude attrney and firm address infrmatin. T access the frm preferences: (1) Highlight the Chapter 13 Plan n the Frms and Schedules Menu fr the client. (2) Click Setup/Edit Frm Preferences. (3) Highlight the frm preference and click Change. Hw Infrmatin Yu Enter Relates t the Printed Plan Captin The divisin name fr the captin n the first page f the Chapter 13 Plan is taken frm the jurisdictin name in the jurisdictin sectin f yur Setup Menu. Nte that if there is a tilde character ~ in yur jurisdictin name, it will nt print n the plan nr will any text fllwing the tilde. Debtr s Name and Other Case Infrmatin The firm s address, phne, fax, and all print as entered in the Setup Law Firm Infrmatin sectin. A special frm preference is available t add the firm name. T access the frm preferences: (1) Highlight the Chapter 13 Plan n the Frms and Schedules Menu fr the client. (2) Click Setup/Edit Frm Preferences. (3) Highlight the frm preference and click Change. The debtr s name, Scial Security Number, and Address are drawn frm the infrmatin entered n the Vluntary Petitin. Original Amended r Mdified Checkbxes The Original checkbx is checked by default. The Amended checkbx is checked if the ptin t Print Amended in Frm Title ptin is selected while preparing the frms t be filed. The Mdified checkbx is checked if the ptin t Print Amended in Frm Title ptin is selected and the text field is edited frm Amended t Mdified. If yu are amending r mdifying the plan yu will be prmpted t enter the reasns fr filing the Amended r Mdified Plan while yu are generating the PDF. Plan payments include pst-petitin mrtgage payments: This checkbx will be checked if yu have a claim classified as Secured, lng term, in plan (SLTP) with Mrtgage r Deed f Trust entered in the Nature f Lien field. 10 There is als a Chapter 13 Plan Frm Preference that allws yu t exclude amunts in this sectin if the case is belw the median. T access the frm preferences: (1) Highlight the Chapter 13 Plan n the Frms and Schedules Menu fr the client. (2) Click Setup/Edit Frm Preferences. (3) Highlight the frm preference and click Change. M. Estimated Amunt t Unsecured, Nnpririty Creditrs Under Plan The ttal amunt paid t Unsecured general nnpririty (UGEN) creditrs prints here. Signatures The Date will print as entered in the Print Date n Signature Line field in the ptins windw that appears whenever the frm is printed r pened fr editing. The attrney name selected in the Filing Infrmatin tab f the Vluntary Petitin prints fr the Attrney Name. The law firm infrmatin entered in the Setup Menu prints fr the attrney s address and telephne number. The Debtr and C-Debtr Spuse (if applicable) will print as entered in the vluntary petitin. Editing the Plan 1. Custm Chapter 13 plans are prvided as RTF (rich text frmat) files s that they can easily be edited and saved as needed. Mark just the 13 Plan t print in the Frms and Schedules Menu. 2. Click the Print buttn in the tlbar at the tp f yur screen. The Print Dcuments dialg bx appears. Mark yur printing chices, and then click the Edit Frm buttn n the right side f the dialg bx. 3. The 13 Plan appears n yur screen in the Best Case Editr. Yu can add r remve text as needed. All editing ptins are described in the Best Case Editr Optins help tpic. Saving (Replacing) the Plan with the Best Case Editr When yu edit a dcument in the Best Case Editr, yu are nt actually editing the data recrd fr the debtr, as yu are when yu enter infrmatin thrugh Best Case entry screens like the Vluntary Petitin windw. Instead, yu are editing a text dcument that has infrmatin abut the debtr filled in fr yu. S that these frms will nt take up a large amunt f rm n yur hard drive, yur changes t these dcuments are nt autmatically saved. 1. T save changes t the plan with the Best Case Editr, chse File/Save. 2. The Save Dcument in Case windw appears. By default, the name f the frm is filled in fr yu and Replaces Frm is marked as the print selectin. Click the Save t Case buttn t save the edited frm. Nte that changes that yu make t the plan apply t this case nly, nt t all cases. 3. Clse the Best Case Editr. The edited plan will then appear n the Frms and Schedules menu as the Replaced versin f the riginal dcument. 4. T print the plan, mark the Replaced plan t print n the Frms and Schedules menu, and select yur printing ptins. Fr all printing ptins, see Printing Frms in yur User s Guide r Help menu in Best Case Bankruptcy.
