4 Website structure review Early conclusions Top level categories are strong, but subsequent levels too much too quickly Cross selling working much better SEO working well (although much more can be done) Raise visibility of our purpose and what we do Better position our offering to our various target audiences Higher visibility of Member Area and Member Network (in the structure and in the content) Raise visibility of published output Raise visibility of events and networking opportunities 4

13 CMS for Member Groups Provide all groups a centrally managed CMS option for their websites. Benefits: templates and stylesheets managed by BCS your sites will always be compliant with our guidelines and standards all the functionality we develop for bcs.org will be available to group sites powerful CMS but a progressive interface for admins 13
14 CMS for Member Groups Status Development mostly completed Testing to be scheduled Original plan was to be in pilot now Pilot phase to be re-scheduled shortly All sites in managed hosting will be offered the functionality Other sites welcome to migrate into the system once rollout starts 14
15 Event Booking System To develop a new event booking facility for use by Member Groups and BCS Corporate Events Deliveries: New front end New back office (with a web based interface) New reporting capability 15
