3 Introduction to Asiana Club CARD Membership Program Membership Program Elite Membership Asiana Club is the frequent flyer program of Asiana Airlines, and is operated based on Asiana Club Miles. Asiana Club Members can earn miles every time they fly with Asiana Airlines or an Asiana Airlines partner, and may get Flight Award and other benefits using the miles they have earned. By accumulating enough miles, members can earn Elite status and get even more benefits. Platinum Diamond Plus Diamond Gold General Membership Introduction to Asiana Club Joining Asiana Club Qualifications There is no age limit for Asiana Club Members. After registering, Hansarang Members automatically receive discounts on domestic fares. Magic Miles This is the mileage program for children under 12. Children under 12 earn 75% of the miles earned by adults. As well, children boarding domestic flights with flight awards (including upgrade awards) between the ages of 2 and 12 and children boarding international flights with flight awards (including upgrade awards) between the ages of 2 and 11 will redeem 75% of the miles for adults. Qualifications for Elite Members Elite members are selected according to the miles accumulated on Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance flights. (The number of Star Alliance flights boarded is not counted for selection of Elite members.) Items Asiana Airlines Star Alliance Miles Accrual Number of Boardings 1. Miles accumulated with partners, miles accumulated through promotions and events, and boardings of Elite members are not counted. 2. Miles accumulated after the boarding date are counted for selection of Elite members as of the boarding date, and upgrades to Elite membership status are valid from the day after the date on which the qualifications for Elite membership have been met. 3. Miles are not accumulated for boarding with tickets with discounts exceeding 50% of the fare, special tickets with no mileage accrual tickets and tickets for which no fare has been paid. In addition, these cases will not be counted toward the number of boardings for selection of Elite members

6 Provision of bonus Asiana Airlines mileage for Elite members 1. If a member uses Economy Class, additional miles accrue based on the miles accumulated for Economy Class. If a member uses First Class or Class, additional miles accrue based on TPM. 2. The additional miles accumulated for Elite members accrue only when a member uses Asiana Airlines flights, and the miles are not counted for selection of membership status. (Not available when a member uses joint services.) Mileage Discount Coupons Mileage Discount Coupons are applicable to Flight Award and Upgrade Award on Asiana Airlines flights only, and the coupons are valid for one year from the date of issuance (non-transferable) You can use the service when you use your own miles or combine these with your family miles to issue bonus tickets through your account. Earning Miles Introduction to Asiana Club Lounge Tickets (for Gold Members) 1. If a member uses Asiana Airlines flights (flights directly operated by Asiana Airlines excluding joint service flights), the member may use Asiana Airlines Lounges in Korea, which are directly operated by Asiana Airlines. The tickets are valid for a year from the date of issuance. 2. Coupons must be used by the member, with one accompanied guest who use the flights directly operated by Asiana Airlines may use lounges, but an additional coupon will be used. Lounges and Check-in Counters for Diamond Plus Members Diamond Plus Members may use lounges and check-in counters of a higher class than the tickets presented. - Passengers with Economy Class tickets may use business lounges and check-in counters - Passengers with Class tickets may use the highest class check-in counter of Asiana Airlines and the highest class lounger in Incheon International Airport. Diamond Plus Members who have earned 500,000 miles or 500 A member may earn miles by using Asiana Airlines or Star Alliance Partners, and using credit cards, hotels and car rental services that are partnered with Asiana Airlines. A member may also earn miles by using major online shopping malls in Korea through the Shop & Miles Program. Miles accrue free of charge, and the miles shall not be valuated before use as the standards for redeeming miles may change. The value of the miles is decided at the point of redeeming miles for Flight Award or Upgrade Award. Expiry by Membership Status Expiry of miles is decided according to the membership status as of the boarding date or mileage accrual date. Miles that are not redeemed before expiry automatically become extinct. Sequence of Mileage Redemption Miles with upcoming expiration dates will be redeemed first from your account. How to Earn Miles Automatic Accrual Miles are automatically accrued upon submission of membership number at the time of ticket purchase or reservation, or upon presentation of digital membership card at the time of check-in. Miles accumulated directly through Asiana Airlines are credited to member accounts within one full day of the completion of the flight; miles accumulated through partners of Asiana Airlines are credited to member accounts within eight days of the boarding date. Mileage accrued after check-in cannot be used until boarding has been completed and the mileage has been credited to the member account. Please keep a copy of your flight tickets or the original boarding pass as evidence. The English name on your passport must be identical to the English name of the Asiana Club Member. Terms of Accumulation When Asiana Club members have joined to loyalty programs with other airlines, they must select the mileage program to earn the miles at the point of reservations. (Once miles have been earned, they cannot be transferred to loyalty programs with other airlines.) How to Earn Miles (after Boarding) Please keep your boarding pass and flight ticket until the miles accrual is confirmed. Please check whether the miles have accrued after your trip. If miles have not accrued, you may apply for your miles for up to one year from the boarding date. A member may earn miles by using joint service flights between Asiana Airlines and Non-Star Alliance Partners when member uses flights of Non Star Alliance Partners. The accumulated miles will not be counted as the miles for membership upgrades to Elite Membership. 2. Additional miles accumulated for Elite Membership (Gold or Higher) will not be applied to joint service flights which other airlines are operationg. Applicable airlines : CZ (Chinese Southern Airlines Company), KC (Air Astana), QR (Qatar Airways Company), EY (Etihad Airways), SC (Shandong Airlines), NX (Air Macau) and BX (Air Busan) Redeeming Miles Redemption Procedures A member may use his or her accumulated miles to fly with Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance Partners, and to use the various partnership services of Asiana Airlines, including theaters, hotels, resorts and online duty-free shops. Mileage deduction standards may change at any time, so the previous Mileage deduction standards may be different from the standards at point of mileage accumulation or membership program enrollment. Flight Award is available when there are vacancies at the point of flight departure, but Asiana Airlines allocates seats in advance to enable members to fix their schedules more easily. Flight Award is allocated separately from seats for regular tickets, and the number of seats allocated is decided based on an analysis of the boarding records, seasons, days and flights. Accordingly, there may be vacancies for regular tickets with no vacancy for Flight Award. Please understand that vacancies expected to be used as seats for regular tickets shall not be allocated as seats for Flight Award. Introduction to Asiana Club 14 15

9 Reservations A member may make a reservation at the Asiana Airlines website (flyasiana.com) or with the Asiana Airlines Reservation Center ( ). Please confirm to use your miles at the point of reservations. You may easily issue a Flight Award using miles at the Asiana Airlines website or with the Asiana Airlines smartphone application. Please note that the services provided at the website may be restricted. Issuance Tickets can be issued at Asiana Airlines branches or online (website/mobile). Ticket reservations will be automatically cancelled if ticket issuance is not requested by the Ticket Time Limit, which is provided at the time of reservation. In order for mileage to be used by a third party or agent, the identification cards of both the member and third party must be presented. Online services may be limited; please visit the Asiana website for further information. Infants are subject to 10% of the mileage redemption applied to adults. 2. For a child using a domestic flight between the ages of 2 and 12 (as of the date of boarding), 75% of the miles for adults will be redeemed. For a child using an international flight between the ages of 2 and 11, 75% of the miles for adults will be redeemed. 11 Classes of Reservations First Suite, First Class Smartium, Class Economy Class Flight Award may be subject to limitations of seats, and reservations for the appropriate class shall be made for ticket issuance and boarding. When you make a reservation for a class other than the designated reservation class, you are not allowed to issue a flight ticket (including upgrades) and board the flight. When you board an international flight, the seat reservation and ticket issuance must be completed before boarding. You are not allowed to wait at the airport and issue the ticket at the airport on the date of boarding. When making a reservation for J Class to Chicago (OZ236/235), Bonus Tickets can be issued according to the Smartium mileage redemption standards. The above is applicable to the Bonus Tickets of Asiana Airlines only. From May 20, 2014 (as of the date of bonus ticket issuance) How to Use Ticket Time Limit Ticket Time Limit is set automatically at the point of reservation, and the reservation will be cancelled if Flight Award is not issued within the Ticket Time Limit. Stop Over One stop over is allowed per one-way trip for all routes. Change of Itinerary Limited to applications made within the valid period of tickets for the route with the same mileage redemption standards applied (same zone, season and class). It is not permitted to board flights for reversed routes Illustration 1: Round-trip route Incheon-Narita-Incheon. After using the ticket for the Incheon-Narita leg, the remaining ticket cannot be used for another Incheon-Narita leg. Illustration 2: One-way trip route Incheon-Narita. The ticket cannot be used for leg Narita-Incheon. A passenger shall be reissued with a ticket for the Narita-Incheon route or refunded for the ticket and issued with a new ticket. When the remaining route of an open-jaw route (stopover in Korea) is changed after using the first route of the itinerary, refunds are made and then miles are redeemed again. (refund charges applied and redemption standards for the open-jaw routes not applied) Taxes and FEES Members who use a flight award shall pay taxes, surcharges and fees, including fuel surcharges, domestic and foreign airport facility fees and tourism promotion funds when the flight award is issued. Fuel surcharges and overseas airport charges may vary according I X to the exchange rates on the date of issuance. Others Reservations of seats shall be confirmed prior to ticket issuance, and standby is not allowed. If an Asiana Club Member has enrolled to a mileage program with another airline, he or she must decide with which airline the miles will accrue. If a member earns Asiana Club Miles, the member may not earn miles with another airline account for the same route. If a member earns miles with other airlines, the member may not earn Asiana Club Miles for the same route. Once earned, the miles shall not be transferred to miles of other airlines. 3. Miles will be earned when our Asiana Club member boards on the codeshare flights. It will be calculated under the purchase of fare and booking class. The miles are earned according to the mileage policy of the airline, and the details are as follows: Miles may be earned with Asiana Club if you use a codeshare flight between Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance partners. Flight Award Reservations Reservations and ticket issuances shall be completed at least 3 days before the first flight. Members may make reservations at a Reservation Center or the website. (Please note that the services provided at the website may be restricted.) If double reservations including a reservation for Flight Award and a reservation for a regular ticket have been made, reservations for Flight Award may be cancelled by the airline. e.g. If a member has made a reservation for Flight Award and a reservation for another class of an Air Canada flight with the same route and the same date of boarding, the Flight Award is cancelled. Reservations for Flight Award are open from about 330 to 354 days before the date of departure, according to the reservation policy of each airline. Ticket issue Asiana Club members can issue tickets at available city branches of Asiana Airlines. Tickets will be issued only if the reservations have been confirmed. (No standby allowed) Reservations and ticket issuances must be complete by three days before first departure The Ticket Time Limits of individual airlines may vary.
