1 Overview Hosting Services Co-Location Your server hardware is located in one of our secure facilities. CNS provides a secure, controlled environment, filtered UPS power, and redundant network connection. Hosting Your systems run on CNS server-hardware, located in one of our secure, environmentally-controlled facilities. Your IT organization manages your applications and maintains full control over the operating system and application infrastructure. You have root/administrator access and you run whatever operating system and server/application software you want on it. Dedicated CNS provides a dedicated physical server. This server is dedicated to you and you alone. Virtual CNS provides a shared virtual server, into which you can install any operating system and server/application software you need. This server may be shared with other units. Managed Hosting CNS owns and is responsible for the hardware; including the server(s), network, devices, operating system and application infrastructure components, providing a stable operating environment for your applications. Your IT organization only needs to manage your applications.
