4 Social skills and competences -team work : -As a member of OLAF Supervisory Committee (SC), having taken office as fr February 2014, I participate to at least 10 plenary meetings per year, over agendas focused reinforcing OLAF S independence and monitoring of the investigative functions of the Offi according to Regulation No 883/2013. As a rapporteur to a number of the Committee s Opinion collaborate and work occasionally with a team of SC Secretariat members and Commissio officials. My task also implies participation to inter-institutional actions (presentation to Council, EP Commission formats of the activities of the SC on an annual basis, participation to the ann exchange of views with the Institutions meeting as provided by article 16 of Regulation 883/2013 etc - During my 6 years attachment to the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU, as a J Counselor ( ), I participated in an almost daily basis, to the various working groups deal with cooperation in criminal matters, convened by Council or the Commission, and have, therefo improved high skills of communicating, mediating and reaching agreement on legislative, criminal la texts. -experience in EU human rights policy : During the six years of my attachment to the Perman Representation of Greece to the EU, as a JHA Counselor, I have attained a high degree of experien on human rights protection matters, the EU policies and legislative priorities thereof [amongst othe have, indeed, attended, as member of the greek delegation, the meetings of the EU Council work groups, which : (a) delivered the Council Regulation (EC) No 168/2007 on the FRA and (b) examin the Framerork-Decisions on combating racism and xenophobia and on certain procedural rights criminal proceedings], as well as on the function of the EU institutions. -intercultural skills : (a) Acting as a member of the (5 members) OLAF Supervisory Committee sin February 2014, I work under a multinational schema in view of achieving a result of comm understanding and acceptance in order to better monitor the Office s investigative function. (b) During my attachment to the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU, I have experienc daily work in an EU institutions environment (different formats of EU Council working grou European Commission workshops and working groups etc) and I have, in particular during the Gre Presidency of the Council (first semester of 2003), chaired the Justice and Home Affairs Counselo working group.
5 Organisational skills and competences -My duties as a public prosecutor involve the administration of criminal justice system issues (mak part of the day-to-day function of a judicial service of a large scale) and a high degree responsibilities and relevant competences -I present, on an annual basis, to the students of the National School of Judges, the acquis in the of the European area of Justice, Liberty and Security. -During my six years attachment to the permanent Representation of Greece to the EU, I ha participated, as a main speaker, in several seminars and conferences on Third Pillar and other issu of criminal nature (Eurojust, European arrest warrant, judicial cooperation in criminal matters, mon laundering, criminal protection of free competition), [e.g. (1) Seminars on the European Arr Warrant and the Eurojust Unit, held in Athens in 2003, during the Greek Presidency of the Counci the European Union, (2) Seminars on the Eurojust Unit and on the police and judicial co-operat in Criminal Matters in the EU (Thessaloniki 2002, 2005), (3) Seminar on the Judicial cooperation civil and criminal matters, organized by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS), under GROTIUS Programme on the training of EU Court officials in the recent developments in the procedural law (London, 2003), (5) in Twinning Programmes in Bosnia-Herzegovina (2006) and Albania (2006), (7) TAIEX organized programmes in Cyprus (2007)]. -I have to day participated, as a main speaker, in several seminars and conferences on a variety criminal justice oriented issues [e.g. (1) domestic violence (Kavala 2009), (2) preliminary crimi investigation (Athens 2011), (3) plea bargaining (Athens 2013), (4) the new Draft of Crimi Procedure Code (Pyrgos 2014), -As chairman of the Council of the European Union Working Group on Cooperation in Crimi Matters (COPEN), during the Greek Presidency of the Council) (first semester of 2014), I had responsibility and schedule of the all relevant legislative work on the Draft Regulation on establishment of the European Public Prosecutor s Office (EPPO). - As a member of the OLAF Supervisory Committee (SC), being a rapporteur on several Opinio issued annually, I schedule, overview and administer the work of the SC Secretariat and collabor with a number of officials thereof. -As a Substitute Head of the Athens Public Prosecutor s Office at the Court of First Instance, I sha the responsibility of administering a judicial service of a remarkable climax (130 public prosecut and over 400 public servants of assisting duties). This is a task that implies managerial skills of a h quality and moreover the ability to serve efficiently the interest of Justice.
