Bureau of Labor Statistics claims there are more than 209,000 unfilled cybersecurity U.S. jobs and postings are up 74% over the past five years CISCO claims there are 1,000,000 cybersecurity job openings globally Symantec s CEO Michael Brown expects demand to rise to 6 million globally by 2019, with a projected shortfall of 1.5 million. A Rand Corporation study estimates there are around 1,000 top-level cybersecurity experts globally vs. a need for 10,000 to 30,000.
