1 Class of 2013 Full-Time Employment Profile 90.8% of students in the W. P. Carey Full-time MBA Class of 2013 accepted employment within three months of graduation, up from 89.4% in Overall compensation levels were little changed, with a general trend toward modest increases in mean and modest decreases in median salary and signing bonus. Other guaranteed compensation, reported by 9 graduates, rose considerably. Highlights of changes relative to 2012 data are: 90 day job acceptance +1.4% Mean base salary +3.5% Mean signing bonus +7.2% Median base salary -1.6% Mean other guaranteed compensation +34% 71.2% of accepted jobs were sourced through school facilitated activities (campus recruiting, job postings, resume books and referrals). This 20.4% increase over 2012 was influenced by several activities and factors including: A tenured, well respected team working with the full-time students 15% increase in on-campus interviews Significant increase in job postings 1 Referrals from the Network for Value Chain Excellence and the Center for Services Leadership MBA alumni referrals and engagement All data in this report conform to the MBA Career Services Council Standards for Reporting MBA Employment Statistics.
