1 elcome to Lexlee s Kids! Lexlee s Kids Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community through safety education. Our mission is to save and improve the lives of children ages 0-18, by empowering caregivers through awareness of injury risks and prevention. We continually strive to foster community partnerships with safety minded organizations to create solutions for preventing child injuries. Our organization offers Nationally Certified Child Passenger Technicians who educate families about how to correctly install car seats; we can show you how to properly fit a bike helmet and we can teach young drivers how to be road ready. However, what you may not know is that our dedication to bully prevention has heightened as the number of bullying incidents increased. No child should have to endure the pain of teasing, tormenting, harassment or physical abuse. We heard the calling and now we are here to spread important safety messages to our community! Lexlee s Kids would like to offer your organization the opportunity to experience the power of partnership. Buckle Boogie: This program is designed to educate the community about the proper use of child restraints. 9 out of 10 car seats are installed improperly and riding unrestrained is the greatest risk factor for death and injury among children. Meet with Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians who aim to share key information to better protect your children. Ready, Set, DRIVE!: Motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of permanent injury and fatalities in teens. Ready, Set, DRIVE! is designed for teen drivers to learn the negative effects of distracted driving and underage drinking! This program can be customized to fit the needs of your teen group. Driving simulator and a number of other interactive activities are available. We can even speak to adult groups, safe driving affects everyone! Booooo to Bullying: Don t let bullying get the best of our youth. Teasing, harassment, name calling, spreading rumors, physical abuse or cyber bullying these concepts should not be labeled as, kids being kids.
