In the context of H2020 the specific research and innovation continue for developing federating platforms towards a world of connected smart objects. H2020 Agenda

5 Internet of Things H2020 Internet of Things Research and Innovation Emphasis on stronger combination of IoT with Nanoelectronics, Cyber-Physical Systems, Smart System Integration, Cloud Computing, Future Internet, Network Technologies like 5G, and new areas like nanotechnology, cognitive science, biotechnology, while supporting the policy and social dialogue is laying the foundation for the digital society.
