2 Product description The SPTools Extensions for TYPO3 has been developed to take advantage of both systems, Microsoft SharePoint and TYPO3 CMS, in one solution. Via the middleware SPTools the systems form an attractive enterprise system, which connects TYPO3 with the SharePoint Server or the Office 365 cloud solution. The SPTools offer the connection of TYPO3 to SharePoint sites, the display of SharePoint libraries and lists, data and file transfers via forms, synchronization of SharePoint data and files with TYPO3 extensions or the TYPO3 file system / FAL ( File Abstraction Layer) and the integration of SharePoint FAST Search. The SPTools were developed in the first version to connect to Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) The current version SPTools365 is the third generation and connects TYPO3 versions 6/7 with SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online or OneDrive Business in Office 365.
