Position Statements are used to desinate a statement, policy, or declaration of the AAO-HNS on a particular topic or topics. They are used as a response to a payer payment action; to publicize our position to support a procedure for use in advocacy and reulatory efforts; or to clarify the Academy s position on certain practices within the specialty.
