The Systems Division (formerly Smiths Aerospace) in Grand Rapids is rooted in the tradition of Bill Lear, providing engineered solutions for a variety of aircraft applications. Brooks Project Engineer DTE Energy Ms. Brooks is a project engineer in major enterprise projects (MEP) at DTE Energy. She joined MEP in 2008 as part of the Nuclear Development Program and currently provides engineering leadership for the utility-owned SolarCurrents program at Detroit Edison. MEP is responsible for managing major generation and facilities construction and performance projects at Detroit Edison s power plants, the new nuclear power plant development project, and development of renewable assets. Entrepreneur Mark Cory Franchise Placement Specialist Mr. Cory has over 30 years of business management experience. He has been owner/operator of Franchise Network (FranNet) Detroit since 2002, engaged in helping aspiring entrepreneurs select the right franchise business opportunity by strategically guiding them through the search and selection process. Cory has designed seminars that will help one determine if business ownership is the right path for them, and to discover the wide range of investment levels and categories. Game/Simulation Development Nathaniel McClure Chief Executive Officer Scientifically Proven Entertainment (SPE) Mr. McClure, formerly of Activision, worked on the first installment of the videogame Call of Duty, which won over 75 "Game of the Year Awards" and "Best New Intellectual

4 Property of 2003." Call of Duty has thrived and become top of its genre. As chief executive officer of SPE, Nathaniel oversees studio operations. Scientifically Proven Entertainment, headquartered in Michigan, is the newest arm of the Epicenter Studios family. SPE is currently concentrating on licensed properties and is in development on the video game version of the hit Discovery Channel series Man vs. Wild. In addition to games, SPE also has a feature film and television division with numerous projects in the works: McClure holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Purchase College State University of New York. Web Development Paula Lauren Software Engineering Manager World Technical Services Inc. (WTSI) Ms. Lauren has web application development experience across various industries, including insurance, finance, automotive, and the military. She holds a master of science in computer and information science from UM-Dearborn and a bachelor of science from Wayne State University. Paula is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Software Engineering Special Interest Group (SIG) of the ACM, and the Project Management Institute (PMI). Career Transitions Joe Larussa, PE Director of Membership Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Mr. LaRussa is a registered professional engineer in the state of Michigan. He has a diversified background in product development, manufacturing engineering, and project management. LaRussa holds a BSE-Electrical Engineering, an MSE-Automotive Systems Engineering, and an MS-Engineering Management, all from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is also the current chair of the UM-Dearborn Alumni Society. Doug Kroll Project Manager/Business Analyst Lowry Computer Mr. Kroll is a project manager/business analyst for industrial and commercial markets with Lowry Computer Products (Lowry) in Brighton, MI. He has been with Lowry since November Lowry is an industry leader and provider of RFID and barcode
