1 SCHOOL PESTICIDE SAFETY AN D IN TEG R ATED PEST M AN AG EM EN T Statutes put into law by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry to ensure the safety and well-being of children and school personnel in our state: Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Schools are encouraged to use the least toxic method of pest control. The least toxic method of pest control may include pest control methods other than the application of pesticides.
