1 Your NEW household waste and recycling service Your new recycling guide What to recycle How to recycle Find out more inside

2 Your new service We have made changes to your household waste and recycling service to help you to recycle more: You will now be able to recycle food & drinks cartons in your blue-lidded bin. Your non-recyclable waste will now be collected in a new slimline green-lidded bin - we will remove your old bin. With your help we can recycle more and reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfill. Your waste & recycling Bins Blue-lidded bin Brown-lidded bin Green-lidded bin Food & drinks cartons now included New slimline bin Recycling Food & garden waste Non-recyclable waste To check your collection dates, please visit our website:

3 Too good to waste Did you know in 2015, 45% of materials in the green-lidded bin sent for disposal could have been recycled in your blue and brown-lidded bins? An average green-lidded bin in Perth and Kinross still contains materials that could be recycled at the kerbside: Food waste Paper, card, cans, plastic bottles & containers Other waste Last year this cost Perth and Kinross Council over 1 million on disposal charges for the materials that could have been recycled. You can help by recycling all of these materials in your bluelidded and brown-lidded bins.
