Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: Apply updated knowledge of value-based payment, quality initiatives, and impact of ACOs to clinical practice. Improve clinical practice by incorporating major new developments in diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders, and geriatric preventive medicine. Understand recent advances in oral anticoagulation, new oral agents for diabetes mellitus, effective use of antibiotics, and the management of chronic hepatitis C. Increase confidence in performing clinical skills.
