3 My job is Super Simple. I do 3 things: 1. First, I explain the Program to you. 2. Second, I Answer All of your concerns and Questions. 3. And Third, I Digitally Sign you up for your Site Survey to see if the house is even a good fit for the Program.

4 Our Site Surveyor will arrive your Home within a 3 hour window. He will "Tie into your roof", per OSHA Regulations. Then he will Manually measure your roof as well as take Readings which will tell us how much Sun Light your roof will sustain for each of the twelve months using the "Sun Eye". He will then go to your attic hatchway and take pictures of the underside of your roof to insure its integrity as We will be Responsible for the panels (roof) for the next 20 years. Next he will go to your Electric Breaker Panel where he will take pictures of the wiring to insure they meet your Local Code. The Work Order gives us your permission to do the Site Survey

5 With All of the Thousands of Installations we have done in New York and the hundreds we've done in this Area, Everyone has the same 2 Questions 1. If Vivint Solar covers the full cost of my panels and I don t pay anything..how does that work.. I know I don t get something for nothing? a. Here s how it works. Same thing as your Utility.. You didn t pay for the Poles, the Power Lines, or the Plants Other Customers did and tax dollars.. we get funded through the State and the Federal Government and we take care of all the rest so it is literally costs you nothing. 2. If my home actually qualifies what would this look like for me, like how much will I save? a. There is 1 thing that we are upfront about. You did Not hit the Jackpot. You didn t win Free Power for Life or anything like that. We are really picky about the homes we select. Every home that qualifies saves money.. You ll save anywhere form 10% - 40%. Your e Not going to get rich off of this thing.

6 Here's the Problem - The Grid is 100 years old! THIS IS SUPPLY (Generation) Power plant: Here s the problem. Heres how Generation Works.. All the charges from the power plant. There's a big problem with generating power from a Fossil Fuel for a 100 years more people use electricity every year.. Less Fossil fuels more people, Less Fossil more people using electricity. What happens to the cost of your power? It goes up! That s easy to understand.. The other problem is that it's dirty and nobody likes polluting the air everybody's onboard with clean energy now a days. Theres a problem with the way we generate electricity. THIS IS DELIVERY The other problem is the Delivery normally more than half your bill is delivery, taxes, things like that Before you even flicked on a light to get the power from the plant to the transfer station, to the lines in your neighborhood you pay $$ before you flicked on a light. (And you pay more in the winter) On your Con Edison Bill, there are separate charges for both your Supply and your Delivery.

7 The Solution is easy, I drop a few Solar Panels on the roof.. we solved the Generation and Delivery problem with solar. The sun is a much better generation source than a power plant. The sun is free and it comes up every day, it just shines and it doesn t cost us more and more, each year, to collect the sun. The second thing is that its clean. All things being equal.. If you say the price is going to be the same. with everybody that we speak to.. everybody would rather get clean power than dirty power to power the home.

8 If you could choose between Clean Solar power or Dirty fossil fuel power, which would you choose? The other thing is.. we call it '6 feet vs 1,000 miles'.. We deliver power right here on site. we don t have to bring it from some power plant 1,000 miles away. So we solved the Delivery. We solved the Generation and Delivery problem! We can generate and deliver power much better.. With Con Edison you have both Generation and Delivery charges, You pay between $.20- $.35/kwh. It's been going up at least 5%/yr. With solar You get the benefit of All of the power you produce and nobody else including us (we do Not Back Feed). that s the reason everyone wants the panels on their house. A lot of people think that we are back feeding but that s not the case. Only You benefit from your power. Con Ed is allowing us to Give you power at $.157/kwh which is significantly less than what you pay the grid right now. Your'e going to buy power and the sun is going to shine on your roof.. no matter what. You might as well pay less for doing nothing. Less Fossil Fuels with More People using Electricity equals higher prices.

9 The best part is... Everyone wants to know: "if this is tied into the grid, by Net Metering, and my Solar rate goes up along with the price charged by the Grid I'm always saving money: but, I'm not growing my savings". Even if it goes up at the same point as the grid, you're always saving because Your rate is protected for 20 years with a 2.9% Cap. No matter how high the Grid gets they can never raise your rate more than 2.9%. Everybody loves it because they know what they are paying for power for the next 20 years no matter how high the grid gets.

10 WHEN YOU MOVE: It's super unlikely that you're going to be living here for the next 20 years, we thought that out statically and you're probably moving before the 20 years is up. We're just a Utility, Net Metered, so when you move the new owners don't pay anything, you don't pay anything... They get the cheaper power as soon as they move in. The reason everybody's concerned about what happens when you move is that, with Buying or Leasing, is that that transfers the Debt to the new homeowner and nobody wants to acquire more debt.(lien) Power outage. If you lose power from the panels the Worst case is what you're doing now... Getting your energy from Con Ed at their higher price. Questions We're up front and we spend a lot of money before The only thing that's going to change is that you are going to pay us a a lower rate than you're paying now Monthly charges We are a Green company, we send our bills by . We collect our monthly payments by ACH from your checking account. It's quite simple... We send invoices on the first of the month and we expect you to pay by the tenth. If you forget we ACH on the 20th. This isn't Cable TV, you are Not going to get Installed Next week. This is how it works: Site survey Submit permits, we do all the legwork including sending a Notary to your house. Wait for approval from Town Install panels Wait for Con Ed to turn on the power.

11 Buying - Leasing The cool thing is that everyone likes this program because you have no skin in the game. Every other way costs money to save money. And no one wants to spend money to save money. You can buy solar panels: No one wants to spend $40,000 today to save money years down the road. You can lease solar panels: The Second way is the Lease, you're actually renting the equipment and leasing is the next best alternative.. We don't live in Arizona or Florida where it's Sunny All Year So no one wants to pay the same amount every month when the sun isn't shining on their roof. The cool thing is with Net Metering all of your excess power produced goes through your New Net Meter back to the Grid for Your Use in the Evening and during the winter when the sun is not shining or not that strong. So, you don't want to lease or buy you just want to buy cheaper electric.

If they had to choose Everyone has would choose to gas heat over oil. (And the people paid for the conversion)
