We ll send you daily reports outlining your transaction records with us and settle your account regularly as per contract with s detailing remittance advice. All Merchants can access their account at any time to view and verify all the transactions processed. page 5
6 Delivering China The People s Republic of China is the world s most populous country with around 1.4 billion inhabitants. One of the cradles of civilisation, it experienced centuries of boom and bust until major land reforms in 1978 saw it become one of the world s fastest growing economies and its growth shows little sign of slowing. It is now the world s second biggest consumer marketplace and the world s largest ecommerce market. China turned over approximately USD 440 billion in 2014, surpassing the United States in online retail by more than USD 140 billion (Internet Retailer, February 27, 2015). While the eshopper population reached over 300 million by the start of 2014, up 60 million from the previous year, the online shopping demographic still represents only 25% of the total population, meaning plenty of potential growth ahead. China UnionPay (CUP) is the only domestic bankcard organisation in China and the only interbank network that links the ATMs of all banks throughout the region. 8 Delivering Thailand Thailand is a newly industrialised country, having experienced the world s highest economic growth rate from 1985 to It has a population of 66 million and the gross national income has doubled in the last decade. Richard Barry Chief Executive Officer Richard was named CEO of PaySec in September 2015 having served as Managing Director of Jade Payments Group since He brings a significant history of systems development and execution in the management of Payments and Remittance solutions across multiple territories, including the US, Europe and Asia. Through focus on sales, operations and service support, Richard leads PaySec s development and implementation, striving to achieve flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding and always evolving payments landscape. page 12
13 Gary Murphy Chief Partnership Manager Gary Murphy was a founder of PaySec and continues to build the company in his role as Chief Partnership Manager. Gary is an entrepreneur specialising in the payments industry with a specific expertise in Asian transactions. He has a successful business background and is an expert in helping to build companies quickly from the ground up. This experience is vital in helping our quick evolution. Dan Fernandez Head of Business Development Europe Dan has over seven years experience in Payments and Financial Services, firstly within Lloyds Banking Group before moving to Santander as Regional Manager. Dan was a co-founder and MD of Cardex Merchant Services, responsible for leading a business into the challenging Point of Sale payments market. Dan then moved into the ecommerce sector and joined PaySec in September He is responsible for building the sales channels incorporating Merchants, Partners and Acquiring institutions for PaySec across Europe. Julius Caesar Principe Chief Operation Officer JC was appointed as COO of PaySec in September 2014 and has 20+ years of experience in the Banking and Payments Industry. He has worked with global banks and payments companies and helped these companies by delivering mission critical solutions to achieve their business objectives. JC has been instrumental for these companies to achieve their business targets, PCI and other Monetary Authority compliances and helped streamline their business. He has collaborated and worked on projects with key industry players in the region including Visa, MasterCard and other payments processing companies operating in Asia. Julieta Napiza Chief Financial Officer Julieta has 27 years of working experiences in BPO/IT and various American multinational semicon manufacturing companies. 16 How often do you settle with your Merchants? We will settle daily if the amount is more than USD 5,000, or as often as you want for larger amounts. Do you offer services for high-risk Merchants? Yes, we specialise in high-risk Merchants. How do I access my account? All of your information is displayed in the PaySec Back Office. This details everything from your running settlement balance through to every individual transaction that has ever been processed. How do I start using PaySec s services? Once you have submitted the application form and completed our Risk and Fraud requirements, we provide you with an API to integrate into your website. Once this is done and testing has been carried out, you are ready to go live and start processing local debit solution payments. How long does it take to process my application? With a standard application where we do not require any additional documentation we can have you processing payments within seven days of your application. page 16
