10 Variants of Visual Tags Graphic Display Tag Capable of changing each pixel dynamically, DPI, requires power source so is typically an active tag with radio and sensors Segmented Display Tag Can be defined with almost any number of segments, custom screen setup required, uses less power and can be done in active or passive formats (photovoltaic or RF harvesting) Color flag tag Use of bi-stable plastics and translucent overmolds to create passive RF tags that change color to show alert condition 10
