Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation This 36-hour program delivered in an online format is designed to prepare students to analyze, address and manage conflict effectively and professionally. This depth of preparation is invaluable to those who are seeking a career in dispute resolution or who find themselves with significant peacemaking opportunities. The primary purpose of this program is to equip and enable graduates to: Be recognized and utilized as peacemakers, regardless of your professional or career positions Be well-versed in conflict theory and be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage conflict Possess the capacity for advancement into positions of leadership and service in a wide range of professions Mentor and challenge others to pursue godly lives of collaboration and reconciliation Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution This is offered to students who are not seeking a graduate degree or are in another master s degree program, yet desire specialized training in conflict management. 11 Admission Requirements Abilene Christian University seeks individuals who have high standards of personal ethics and have demonstrated excellence in their professional lives and academic studies. To qualify for admission, you must meet the following criteria: Complete an online application Pay an application fee of $100 Submit official transcripts showing all previous college work Complete a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a 3.0 GPA (Speak to a Admission Counselor if your GPA is lower) Submit two recommendation forms that indicate support of readiness for graduate study Submit a typed two-page statement of purpose Submit a current resume

12 Quick Facts Our programs have minimal group work, and no set time that you have to login throughout the week. You decide when you work and what pace you need to set to finish all the required course work for the week. Our online programs have exact the same professors, curriculum and course work as our on campus program. There is no difference in the level of education that you will receive. Also, the degree that is conferred to you at the end is the exact same degree as if you graduated on campus. A Master s program will teach you how to be much more analytical. It should teach you how to find information efficiently and effectively, and once you find it, how to analyze it and then apply it to what you were looking for.
