2 Message from our Chapter President: Greetings FEI Colleagues, It s February so hopefully love is in the air! Hopefully your year-end deadlines and other responsibilities won t keep you from pampering your Valentine this month. I can personally attest that 2012 has already been an incredibly busy time and I continue to grow excited about the future of our North Texas region. I hope you joined us in January to hear Brian Estridge of WBAP and TCU. Brian was very entertaining and had many hot sports opinions, as well as inspirational reflections. We ll continue our run of great speakers on February 21 st with Chancellor Erma Johnson Hadley of Tarrant County College. Ms. Johnson has spent a tireless career dedicated to the belief that all Texans are entitled to a college education. Under her leadership, Tarrant County College continues to be a beacon of light and change for our Tarrant County area. I m excited to hear her thoughts and perspectives. Also don t forget to join us at 4:30 on February 21 as Jack Kearney of BDO Capital Advisors provides us with a current Economic Update. As I mentioned at the last meeting, we are more than half way to our goal of 10% membership growth. We ve done a great job so far this year, but we need everyone s support to finish strong. As you invite your co-workers and colleagues, if you have any questions regarding membership eligibility please reach out to Jeremy Sweek at jeremy@sweekconsulting.com.
