1 CURRICULUM VITAE PETER CARE +44 (0) SUMMARY I am an experienced and professional Oracle E-Business Suite consultant, equally accomplished in functional and technical roles, usually covering both as a hybrid consultant. I have worked on implementation projects for a variety of clients, both as an independent consultant and as a consultant for a large I.T. services company. My expertise covers the financial and logistics modules of Oracle E-Business Suite, including the following roles: functional and technical solutions architect functional analysis and configuration of applications design and development of customisations migration from legacy systems upgrade of customisations I have nearly twenty years I.T. experience, the last fifteen years exclusively in Oracle technology. The project started with a re-implementation of the Jersey business from onto , due to a change of chart of accounts structure. This initial phase involved existing modules GL, AP, AR and CE plus the implementation of new modules OIE (iexpenses), PO and iprocurement. Subsequent phases saw the rollout to CPA businesses in US, UK, France, Germany, India and Australia. The project was delivered by a small team of consultants, on time and within budget. My roles and responsibilities included: Solutions architect for new modules, interfaces and structure of new companies implemented. Responsible for entire project from proposal through to implementation. Design and development of new interfaces into AP and AR following the replacement of the core operations system. The interfaces utilised database links from Oracle to MS SQL Server to pull data from the source application. Ladbrokes, Harrow, UK Mar 2006 Apr 2006 Functional/technical consultancy advice on implementation of a new business unit into the existing instance. This included advice on the structure of sets of books and operating units, plus multi-currency impacts. Equant, Slough, UK Jan 2005 Feb 2006 Functional consultancy for implementation of Oracle Inventory for the equipment resale business stream of Equant. This was a Capital Resource Logistics solution to meet the logistics requirements of GTS, specific to the telecommunications industry. Viag Interkom, Munich, Germany Jun 1999 Oct 1999 Technical consultant working on a project to upgrade the full Oracle Applications suite from version 10.7NCA to Release 11. Also responsible for developing customisations on Release 11 to fulfil new business requirements. Design and development of two new invoice interfaces into Oracle Receivables. Design and development of bespoke functionality in Oracle Order Entry forms using the CUSTOM PL/SQL library. Bulk data load of the assets of a company purchased by Viag, into Oracle Assets. Conversion of existing customisations from 10.7NCA to Release 11, by analysing database changes and making use of new functionality where applicable. Reuters Logistics, London, UK Mar 1998 May 1999 Technical consultant working primarily on Oracle Assets, as part of the implementation of Oracle Manufacturing and Oracle Assets, version Page 6 of 8

7 Responsible for the data conversion of 500,000 assets into Oracle Assets, from two legacy systems, using the Mass Additions interface. This included design and development of PL/SQL conversion scripts and resolution of data cleanse, performance and sizing issues. Functional consultancy for the implementation of Oracle General Ledger and Oracle Payables, (v10.7sc) for a publishing company, including functional gap analysis. Development of the data conversion strategy for both modules, along with technical specifications for the conversion scripts. Technical consultancy for the implementation of Oracle Project Accounting, v10.7sc, to manage Cap Gemini s I.T. projects, including: - Design and system testing of forms and processes for custom forecasting functionality, using Oracle Forms v4.5 and PL/SQL packages. - Design and development of processes for data conversion of project revenue into Oracle Projects and interfacing to Oracle Receivables. Merrill Lynch, Hong Kong May 1996 Mar 1997 Functional and technical analyst working on a project to implement Oracle Financials General Ledger, Payables, Assets and Purchasing, along with a budget module built using Oracle Financial Analyzer. Responsible for the Oracle Assets implementation including data conversion, functional set-up and bespoke processes. Design and development of a number of custom reports and processes for General Ledger and Payables, using Oracle Discoverer/2000, PL/SQL and SQL*Plus.
