3 General Infrmatin Certified Service Technician Training RAE Systems ffers intensive, hands-n service technician training t distributrs and end-users. Attendees learn t set up, cnfigure and test RAE Systems equipment, run diagnstics, calibrate and repair r replace pumps, sensrs, lamps and ther cmpnents. Wh Shuld Attend RAE Systems distributrs perating a Factry Authrized Service Center r a RAE Authrized Warranty Repair Center and ffering service fr RAE Systems instruments must emply at least ne RAE Systems Certified Service Technician. T becme certified, technicians must attend at least attend the RAE Systems Classic Certified Service Technician Training curse. We recmmend that technicians als attend the RAE Systems Basic and Advanced Certified Service Technician Training curses. T maintain certificatin, technicians must repeat their training at least nce every tw years. They may be waived frm repeating the Classic curse if they regularly repair and service RAE instruments. End users with large deplyments f RAE Systems equipment, such as the military and refinery peratrs, may find that having their wn trained service technicians reduces csts and increases equipment readiness. 4 Curses Five curses are ffered: Classic Certified Service Technician Training Basic Certified Service Technician Training Advanced Certified Service Technician Training Advanced Certified AreaRAE Wireless Service Technician Training Advanced Certified MeshGuard Wireless Service Technician Training Class Size Because ur curses are very hands-n and very interactive, class size is generally limited t 12 attendees. Fr On-site training, we require a classrm-style facility with ample table-tp space, wall-prjectin space, and a 120-vlt AC pwer surce. Our trainer brings all necessary PC and prjectin equipment, training materials, literature, equipment and accessries. Reginal We ffer reginal training classes in the US and Canada. 5 Certificatin Our custmers increasingly find they must have "prf f cmpetence" dcumentatin n file. Successful cmpletin f the exam at the end f each curse entitles the attendee t a "Certificate f Cmpletin," which is valid fr tw years. In mst cases, this satisfies the requirement. RAE Systems als keeps a recrd n file if third-party verificatin is needed. Nte: If payment has nt been made in full, r is pending, the Certificate f Cmpletin will nt be released until all payment is received.
