4 Clinicians: Dr. Dennis Wells Dennis J. Wells, DDS, founder of the Nashville Center for Aesthetic Dentistry, is a graduate of Harding University and UT Dental School. He received his accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in 1994, and is founding president of the TN Chapter of the AACD. Dr. Wells codeveloped DURAthin and MICROthin veneers and hosts seminars to share the prepless veneer techniques with other dentists. AACD has presented him with the Outstanding Scientific Advancement in Cosmetic dentistry award for his work with prepless veneers. Dr. Wells lectures internationally on cosmetic dentistry, and practices in Nashville, Tennessee where he has designed the smiles of many celebrities and high profile people in the entertainment industry. Dr. Pat Little As a leading continuing education lecturer, author and consultant, Dr. Pat Little offers a unique viewpoint due to his experiences in both the dental and accounting professions. He integrates his investigative, accounting and financial education with over 30 years of varying dental experiences including starting two private practices from scratch. Dr. Little is dedicated to presenting continuing education courses that focus on topics related to financial and business systems, security, documentation, accountability and integrity. Dr. Little is an engaging and entertaining speaker who presents well-informed and technologically updated presentations while converting complicated (and sometimes scary) material into plain English. Penny Reed Penny Reed is a dental consultant who began her coaching business in 1994, after working as a dental office manager. She is passionate about helping practices grow. By utilizing the principles in her new book Growing Your Dental Business, most of her clients achieve an increase in collections of 25% or greater. She has been named a Leader in Dental Consulting by Dentistry Today, each year since Derek Champagne Derek is the CEO of The Artist Evolution (a marketing, design, and practice management firm) and is a consultant specializing in marketing development for dental practices across the country. Founded in 2007, Derek s corporate brand is recognized nationwide. He launched Practice Image Builders in 2008 which focuses on assisting practices with developing their brand image, online and off.

Having focused on minimally invasive dentistry for over 12 years, Dr. Dennis Wells will demonstrate advanced design methods that have resulted in hundreds of successful cases with little to no tooth preparation. Evaluate the various materials available to fabricate thin veneers, identifying their strengths and weaknesses. Illustrate the similarities between polishing porcelain in the lab and post-cementation intra-oral finishing. Explain the importance of developing properly contoured prototypes as a blueprint for no-prep veneer design. This course is designed to... Many doctors fail to discover fraud and embezzlement until significant damage has occurred. While internal controls are useful and important, they have limitations and may not be as effective as the doctor thinks. Dr. Little discusses how to mitigate fraud and embezzlement by recognizing important warning signs associated with embezzlement and by understanding the characteristics of an embezzler.
