1 Section XIII SUPERVISION, ORGANIZATION, FACULTY AND OTHER PERSONNEL Supervision The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education, of which East Central University is a part, is directed by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, which has broad powers over the state institutions of higher education. As one of six regional senior state universities, East Central University is under the direct supervision of the Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges. The University is under the local control of the President and the Faculty, who function within the bounds of the Faculty Constitution.
