2 Program Description The CDP Before and After School Program offers high quality activities and experiences for children bridging home and school and extending children s learning. The daily program consists of organized activities that include: enrichment, engaging and creative indoor activities, outdoor physical fitness activities, dedicated homework time, and a nutritious snack. Admission Requirements Any Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten through 6th grade child who attends an elementary school in the Saugus Union School District is eligible for enrollment in the Child Development Center at their school of attendance. Enrollment at each site is limited. Staff Each program is led by highly trained and qualified child development professionals who provide a nurturing and safe learning environment for your child(ren). The program maintains an adult/child ratio of one adult staff to every fourteen children. Hours of Operation Each Child Development Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Parents who do not pick up their child by the scheduled closing will be charged a $1.00 per minute Late Pick- Up Fee per family. Registration For each child enrolled for the August to June school year, the registration fees are: $75.00 Annual Registration Fee for Priority/Early Bird Registration from February 9th, 2015 through June 30th, $ Annual Registration Fee for Open Registration from July 1st, 2015 through June 30th, The registration fee is non- refundable and not applicable to tuition. All paperwork must be completed before registration is finalized. (Summer Fun Program registration and enrollment are separate.) Tuition *All tuition rates are subject to change.* Monthly Tuition is billed in ten equal payments (August through May) based on the SUSD Calendar. Tuition does not include breaks and SUSD recognized holidays. Tuition is due on the 15th day of every month. No grace period will be given for weekends, holidays, or breaks. Tuition is late if not paid by the 20th of the month. All payments received on or after the 20th will be assessed a $25.00 Late Tuition Fee. All payments are non- refundable. Refunds or adjustments will not be made for changes to or withdrawal from the program, absences, illnesses, holidays, vacations, pupil- free days, or suspensions. Should my child/children s first day of attendance fall within the middle of a billing cycle, the first month s tuition may be adjusted. I agree to pay this entire amount, along with the non- refundable Registration Fee, at the time of registration. Thereafter, my payment becomes due on the 15 th of the month. My Site Supervisor will contact the CDP Accounting Department at the time of registration to calculate my first month s tuition. (Not applicable to Cedarcreek ASES Before and After School Program and LAUP) Payment Methods Click to Pay. Monthly invoices that are ed have a Click to Pay link for easy online payment. A $5.00 Online Transaction Fee assessed for each Click to Pay transaction. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). For this method of payment, see your Site Supervisor to obtain the Electronic Funds Authorization Form with instructions. EFT transfers take place on the 20th of every month, or the last business day prior should the 20th fall on a weekend or holiday. A $5.00 Transaction Fee assessed for each EFT transaction. Check or Money Order. Tuition paid via check or money order must be made payable to SUSD. Tuition may be paid at your site in the designated tuition payment box or mailed to the Saugus Union District Office to the attention of CDP Accounting Department. Please include your child s name on the information section of your check. Personal Online Bill Pay. Tuition paid utilizing your bank s online bill pay must be made payable to SUSD, and mailed to the Saugus Union District Office to the attention of CDP Accounting Department. Please include your child s name on the information section of your check.
3 Program Changes Completion of a Special Tuition Change & Charge Sheet form and submission to your Site Supervisor is required to change your child s program, along with a $10.00 Administrative Fee. Program changes or withdrawals must be made by the last day of the month for the change to take effect at the next billing cycle (15th of the following month). Program changes requested on or after the last of the month are subject to review and approval. Field Trips If a child attends any field trip during which their behavior jeopardizes the safety of him/herself or others, the child will be unable to attend any future field trips, and the parent may forfeit field trip fees. Any child with previous/known behavioral issues may be ineligible to attend specific field trips that may impact the safety of the child or other children attending the trip.

Sibling discount is not applicable to Special Tuition Rates (see below). Special Tuition Rates Full Days (Pupil- Free Days) $35.00 (Non- Discounted) Must be paid 1 week in advance * Non- Refundable Minimum Days/Early Release Wednesdays $27.00 (Non- Discounted) Must be paid 1 week in advance *Non- Refundable AM Care (Single) $13.00 per Day (Non- Discounted) Must be paid at the time services are rendered. Parent Teacher Conference Week Rate $93.00 per Week (Non- Discounted) Must be paid 1 week in advance *Non- Refundable Breaks Only Fall, Winter, and Spring Break fees are separate from the regular monthly tuition, with a 2 day, 3 day and 5 day rate offered. Registration flyers for breaks will be provided at your site. Breaks must be paid for in advance and are non- refundable. Your account must be current before registration for breaks will be accepted.
