Topics: LPDAS, Inventory, Library Advocacy, Twitter, Events in library, Flood in the library from a storm and the roofers lead to having the library closed 2 days and has continued to be an issue Withdrew books that were water damaged over $4, worth and provided list for district and roofers Readied AV equipment and computers to be salvaged, this is ongoing Working on cleaning out Storage Closet, this is ongoing

3 Library is open before school every day for early morning use by staff and students Library is open every day after school except for faculty/staff meetings, as needed for use by staff and students Librarian and clerk each perform an additional duties throughout the building on a day to day basis Gaston Library Calendar of Events continued to work on this, here are the upcoming events in the library: Pet s Caught Reading, STAAR and various other testing, and ACPs Technology Issues continue to work with Omar Kamil to resolve COW and ipad Cart issues and various other school wide issues Dyslexia make sure all paperwork and grades are completed as per district requirements as well as serving as facilitators The Biggest Loser Contest is continuing being sponsored by Ms. Berry Library Advisory Board students helped prepare for the book fair and participated in the BookFace Contest Dallas Association of School Librarians attended March meeting which discussed Library Advocacy and Dallas Luminarias Ms. Berry continues to maintain the library shelves and overall appearance of the collection, as well as equipment issues. Various library announcements about BookFace Contest, Overdue Books, and Book Fair Ms. Berry is beginning the process of getting the Fiction and Nonfiction (800s and 900s) in order due to the flood Provided CPUs and assistance when needed for Achieve 3000 Hosted faculty and staff meeting and PD in the library Maintained web page All reading classes could preview book fair Ms. Berry and Mrs. Sivard assisted with this for every class that came to the library. Provided space for tutoring Set up book fair and took book fair down New Gaston copier delivered and old one taken away New printer for librarian use delivered
