3 ALLCOOPER S PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE WAS SWIFT AND TIMELY BEAUFORT CO-OPERATIVE ACADEMY 24 ALLCOOPER - 24 HOUR SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE THE CHALLENGE Whilst in the process of developing new and refurbished facilities, the school was unexpectedly informed that their security company would be withdrawing all monitoring services. Faced with having no monitored alarms ahead of the weekend, Beaufort had to find a new provider who could arrange for a same-day resolution, and in the longer-term address a number of recurring issues, including frequent false activations and poor user access. THE SOLUTION That same day, Allcooper conducted a detailed takeover and audit of the existing systems. An in-depth review gave Allcooper the opportunity to address the repeated issues that had been causing inconvenience for the Academy s site team. AC360 has given Beaufort an overarching solution, including access to detailed reporting and component-level asset information. Staff now have greater influence over key system functions with the ability to make simple management changes which has helped to reduce the Academy s call-out fees. 5 ALLCOOPER UTILISED THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY, WHILST ENSURING IT WOULD OPERATE COMFORTABLY WITHIN OUR BUDGET PATE S GRAMMAR SCHOOL ALLCOOPER - UTILISING BIOMETRICS FOR AN ULTRA-SECURE SYSTEM THE CHALLENGE In 2011, the construction of a new Sixth Form refectory building prompted the need for an extension to the existing security systems at the site. In addition, the school identified the need for a new biometric Access Control system, which could integrate with previously installed cashless catering software. For this project, Pate s required a security partner who could offer a cost-effective solution, which would also allow access to the latest technology. THE SOLUTION Allcooper were able to carry out the installation of Intruder and CCTV systems throughout their new refectory. An ultra-secure biometric system was also specified, and adapted to incorporate access doors and fingerprint scanning technology with the cashless catering facilities already in operation. The system has since been extended to other areas of the site, and is accompanied by Allcooper s AC360 maintenance and monitoring solution which ensures Pate s are always aware of their system architecture and budgeting requirements.
