1 Meeker County Resource Child Care and Parenting Meeker County Social Services o Publishes contact information of licensed family daycares in Meeker County. o Offers Love and Logic parenting course to Meeker County residents Disability Services Meeker and Wright Special Education Cooperative (MAWSECO) MAWSECO serves developmentally delayed children, birth to 21 years of age, who are in need of special educational services. There is no fee. Services provided include: screening, assessment and programming for disabled children. Serves all children who need special education service Mawseco.k12.mn.us FAX: Southwest SW/WC Service Cooperative Serves handicapped children from birth to age 21 in the EVW and ACGC districts. Services provided include: school psychology; speech coordination; pre-school coordination; special learning disabilities coordination; educable mentally handicapped and trainable mentally handicapped supervision and coordination; occupational therapy; work experience; school social work; supervision of educational program at the Adolescent Treatment Center ProWorks ProWorks of Meeker County serves those who are at least 18 years of age with a developmental disability and/or a related condition. ProWorks provides a community-based training and rehabilitation program which provides an environment conducive to the development and/or maintenance of each person's maximum capabilities Domestic Violence Homes of Hope, Inc Homes of Hope will serve victims of domestic abuse and/or violence in Meeker County and surrounding areas by providing immediate, temporary, safe housing at no cost. Meals are provided. Transportation can be provided to the shelter and assisting agencies.
