3 40th Annual Texas Meeting September 18-20, 2015 Business Meet ing Saturday s business luncheon will feature a brief TSGE business meeting. The society will also present the Marcel Patterson Robert elson award to one of our most esteemed members. Target Audience The target audience is gastroenterologists, endoscopists, GI nurses, technicians, physician assistants and others who treat patients for gastrointestinal conditions. Cont inuing Medical Educat ion This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accrediation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and The Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. The Texas Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Texas Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Ethics The presentation on Saturday, Sept. 19th fulfills 1 hour of the ethics and/or professional responsibility hour required for Texas licensure. Continuing ursing Educat ion This offering has been submitted for 10 contact hours by the Society of Gastroenterology urses and Associates, Inc., which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American urses Credentialing Center. Attention Fellows! Housing Stipend The TSGE offers a generous housing stipend to all fellows who attend the meeting. Each fellow who applies for the stipend will be presented with a housing stipend reimbursement form upon check-in. This form should be filled out and returned to the TSGE registration desk or business office within a week of the meeting. Each fellow will have two nights, reimbursed in host hotel, or an equivalent hotel AD up to a $200 travel stipend. Fellows Symposium What I wish I would ve known upon graduation The Annual Fellows Symposium panel will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 1-5pm. Come join TSGE Physician-in-Training members and selected active TSGE members for a casual, round table discussion. Course Session Handouts Paperless! The TSGE is pleased to make available downloadable versions of speaker slides for the Annual Texas Program. Presentations that were received prior to the meeting will be posted on the TSGE website. Attendees who prefer to have a printed copy of presentations should download and print speaker slides prior to the conference. TSGE will OT provide a printed copy of speaker slides on site, but will provide each attendee with a USB. Final slide presentations will be posted on the website following the program.
