4 PARTNERSHIP HIGHLIGHTS What des Abundant Life Leadership Cllege s (ALLC) partnership with Suthwestern Assemblies f Gd University (SAGU) mean? Students earn first an Assciates f Arts in Bible Degree- (the freshman/sphmre level classes f the Bachelr f Arts in Church Leadership Degree) at the Schl f Ministry (SOM) discunted rate, and then they can cntinue twards their BA in Church Leadership thrugh nline distance educatin. Students receive mre than 50% nline tuitin discunt fr their AA in Bible! Students are encuraged t apply fr federal financial aid. Many students receive federal financial aid t cver the remaining prtin f their tuitin and textbk csts. Students can pursue their ministerial credentials. Our 8 General Biblical Studies curses meet the educatinal requirement fr Licensed Minister Credentials with the Assemblies f Gd. All cursewrk is accredited. SAGU is reginally accredited thrugh SACS (Suthern Assciatin f Clleges and Schls). Cursewrk can be transferred t anther university if necessary. ALLC s plan is fr each student t cmplete their degree with SAGU, but all curses are transferrable. Students will have qualified, ministry-minded prfessrs fr each curse. SAGU s caring instructrs are academically qualified and have years f practical experience in ministry. All cursewrk is cnveniently cmpleted nline. All assignments and exams are cmpleted nline. Each curse has nline discussin bards. Students can chat nline with their instructrs and with ther students frm arund the cuntry. Our grup is nt required t cme t the SAGU Texas campus at any time. 5 DEGREES OFFERED The Assciates f Arts in Bible Degree is ffered at a discunted rate f $250/credit hur thrugh SAGU fr all Abundant Life Leadership Cllege students. The BA in Church Leadership is nt currently a part f ur discunted partnership with SAGU at this time. Nevertheless, students can still cntinue wrking twards their BA in Church Leadership here at Abundant Life Cmmunity Church thrugh SAGU Distance Educatin. IMPORTANT ACADEMIC INFORMATION: All AA Bible curses can be applied t any bachelr s degree at SAGU, including the degree in Church Leadership. Curse fferings are subject t change. Students that enrll with lw ACT scres may be required t take certain develpmental curses. Students are required t keep a GPA f at least 2.5 and cmplete at least 80% f the curses that they enrll in. A student that fails t maintain academic standards will be placed n financial aid suspensin and is nt eligible t receive any federal r institutinal aid at SAGU. Nine (9) hurs f the majr elective curses must be intern based curses* (PMN 4413 brings the ttal required internship based curses t 12 hurs) with any f the designatrs listed abve. *Internship-based curses are specifically identified in each f the Church Ministries degree prgrams. ALLC students will select 21 hurs f internship classes. (PMN 4413 brings the ttal required internship based curses t 24 hurs.) 9 Imprtant Infrmatin SAGU ONLY: Payment fr the semester is due t SAGU in full at the time f registratin. Students may select a deferred payment plan by making a dwn payment f 1/3 f ttal SAGU bill. A student s bill must be paid in full befre registering fr the next semester. Prices d nt include textbks. The Schl f Ministry tuitin rate is nly available fr first time SAGU students and current Schl f Ministry students. Trips: Abundant Life Leadership Cllege students will be given the pprtunity t take trips in the future. These trips are ptinal. Please plan t save mney fr these trips at an estimated cst f $1,500 t $2,000. Once any trip ptins are planned, exact csts and payment due dates will be given. Breaks: Breaks fr LC students will be prprtinal t that f SAGU s academic calendar breaks, with sme pssible exceptins depending n church related events/activities. Ministry respnsibilities pending, students will be able t take vacatins during these breaks. (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Summer) If plausible, practicum related respnsibilities are still active during this time. Yu are respnsible t cmmunicate with yur practicum head and LC directr regarding any pssible vacatins utside f expected breaks. SAGU annual calendar is available at Bks: Because bks are nt included in any f the tuitin fees, we are ffering a cnvenient ptin fr ur LC students. Abundant Life Leadership Cllege is ffering students the ability t purchase UP FRONT (prepay) fr any bks that are available thrugh Amazn Prime using Abundant Life s Amazn Prime accunt. Students may purchase bks with their schl financial aid r they may pay ut f pcket. Bks may be purchased thrugh any utlet the student wishes t use, including the SAGU bkstre, Amazn, Used bkstres, etc. 10

Technical Requirements High-Speed Internet Cnnectin Students shuld have a reliable Internet Service Prvider with speeds suitable fr streaming vide and accessing large files. These speeds are mst ften delivered by cable, DSL, r satellite. Students with dial-up cnnectins will still be able t use Blackbard and Tegrity, but please be aware that neither system will perate quickly with lw speeds. Als, dial-up internet cnnectins have shwn t be prblematic fr uplading vide fr curses such as Speech and Biblical Preaching. The minimum average cnnectin speed recmmended is 640 Kbps. Sftware Needed fr Submitting Assignments All assignments must be cmpsed digitally and turned in thrugh the Blackbard Learning System. This will require prductivity sftware like Micrsft Office r OpenOffice. Assignments can typically be submitted in Micrsft Wrd, Micrsft Excel, Micrsft PwerPint r Rich Text Frmat. Assignments shuld never be submitted in Micrsft Wrks because faculty members cannt pen files created in Wrks. Students shuld always check with their instructrs cncerning acceptable frmats befre submitting assignments. Creating Vide Cntent fr Curses Several curses require students t prduce vide presentatins. SAGU will supply the necessary access and instructins t accmplish this task. Students are required t prvide the hardware which can include a web cam and micrphne. Mbile Devices Blackbard and Tegrity bth ffer mbile apps fr accessing class materials via smartphnes and tablets. Bth apps can be attained thrugh the apprpriate marketplace (App Stre, Ggle Play, etc). Tegrity ffers their app free f charge. The Blackbard Mbile Learn app can be purchased per year r n a permanent basis. Please nte: Mbile devices will nt be able t cmplete all curse requirements. Students will still need regular access t a cmputer.
