1 Service Center New Employee Onboarding Checklist Before Your Start Date Job Acceptance Confirmation Review Onboarding Website Determine transportation and parking needs First day items Confirm start date, place, time, dress code, parking, etc. Meet the Director Mission/vision and guiding principles for the UW Service Center UW Policies Job classification guidelines Benefits Information Pay Schedule and Holidays Information on pay statements and direct deposit Map of campus with building highlighted Probation information (if appropriate) Madison, WI Entertainment, recreation and restaurants Resources for on the job Purchase bus pass (if applicable) Apply for parking pass (if applicable) Prerequisite: Obtain Wiscard and Net ID Bring your New Employee checklist (if applicable) Bring appropriate identification for I-9 o Social security and driver s license OR Passport Direct deposit account numbers (can add up to 3 accounts) 1
2 Your First Day(s) Welcome Obtain Wiscard (Building Access) Obtain Net ID (Computer Access) UW Portal (Outlook Access) Complete Required Forms Exposure to Professional Development Opportunities Meet at, at : am. Bring a valid form of identification to the Wiscard Office and obtain your Wiscard (this generates your Net ID) Union South, Room W Dayton Street Madison, WI o Your Wiscard allows you to access 660 W.
