4 From 17 th to 19 th June The Oliva Fair Oliva s legendary fictional figure, el Tío de la Porra, announces the beginning of Oliva s festivals. He and his charanga band, dressed in disguise, make the rounds through the schools of Oliva, announcing that the term is over and the festivals are beginning. Over the weekend, you ll be able to enjoy children s fairground amusements, a food fair with artisanal and local produce, musical performances, orchestras and singers. 6 From 24th to 26th June 27th Industrial Motoring and Machinery Fair This year sees the 27th anniversary of the Industrial Motoring and Machinery Fair: 18,000 metres of exhibitions at the axis formed by the roads Lluís Vives, Jaume I and Alcalde Juan Sancho, at the heart of the neighbourhood, meet all the expectations created by the business sector in Safor-Valldigna and the central districts of Valencia to promote their products and services. Sectors such as cars, motorbikes, bicycles, motorhomes, industrial vehicles, navigation, gardening and agricultural machinery and other services related to motors gather at this fair, which has a commercial and consumerist feel, but also a leisurely one.
