Box 2842, Dear Friends, Alzheimer s Services of Marshall County is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to providing education and support services to Alzheimer s patients, their families and caregivers. If you are caring for someone with Alzheimer s, you may need help in giving that care and in caring for yourself. Caring for someone with Alzheimer s disease or dementia is never easy. It is important to remember that you are not alone. There are programs and services that can help improve the quality of life for you and for your loved one. Only you can decide which services are appropriate for your situation. The most important service we can recommend to families of those with Alzheimer s disease is our own organization. With you in mind, we have composed this booklet which lists available services such as home health care, legal services, physicians and support groups where families of those with Alzheimer s or dementia offer one another understanding and guidance. It is our sincere hope that this booklet will be of help to you on your journey with your loved one.
