CARDS is addressed to all the companies that issue cards as a means of payment, loyalty, relationship, identification, access, information storage, advertising, etc., including banks, retailers, travelling, transportation, healthcare, vouchers, service providers and others, with an emphasis on the related business accomplishments. 3 Organizers Profile In the last 15 years, DIB & Associados and RPM Marketing & Eventos organized and promoted more than 25 trade shows on financial, cards and retail technology, combining conference and exhibition, additionally to many seminars, courses and other related activities. At its eighth annual edition, which took place last April/2003, CARDS confirmed its leadership in all of the Latin American card sector, reaching the expressive numbers of more than 2,000 visitors, 40 exhibitors and 400 conference delegates. The organizers were also responsible for launching and running ABACO, a pioneer event in bank automation that was a leader at that segment for 11 successive years; LINUXCORP SHOW, in the area of free and open software for the corporate market; and AUTO-ATENDIMENTO (Self-Service), whose second edition took place on October/2003. Highly experienced at senior executive positions in the financial and technology markets, the organizers are well acquainted with the subjects of these events and highly praised for the quality and attractiveness of their productions.
