These legs are fitted to the back and outer US/DS edges of the stage truss. The Colosseum stocks no back cloths, borders or additional legs Rostra 16 decks at 8 x4 are available, 4x Litedeck 12x Maltbury steel deck. Decks are available with 1, 2, and 3 legs. The Colosseum has a limited stock of legs for decking; therefore not all of the decks can be used at one height. A small number of 8 handrails are available to fit the decking. We can also provide a stage extension, please contact us with your requirements. Pyrotechnics Please be aware we must have a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Please all current risk assessments to the Technical & Buildings Manager so they can be submitted to the licensing authority for approval.

10 Parking Loading dock located adjacent to stage door. Parking on the dock is suitable for 1x 40ft trailer with cab. 45ft trailers must be dropped as with cab blocks the car park entrance. Parking spaces at the Colosseum are very limited, all Visiting Company should be arranged in advance. Up to 2 coach spaces can be allocated nearby at each (4 weeks notice required) Please be aware - strictly no trucks to be parked on site until 15 minutes before the agreed load in time. The Watford Colosseum shares a car park with the local council and will be fined. Staffing Watford Colosseum provides 2 technical staff for 8 hours each day (depending on contract). Hours or staff in excess of this will be recharged at hourly rates as detailed below. Technical staff work in four hour calls and must take a 1hr break every 4 hrs. Missed breaks will be recharged. The standard technical day runs between 9.00 and Hours outside the standard technical day will be recharged at double time unless they count as part of the get-out in which case standard TMA rates apply. (Current minimum get-out is two hours recharged at NI per technician) Hirers Contract assumes a minimum of 1 technician for 1 x 2hr TMA get-out Please note Follow spot operators, runners and wardrobe/dressers will always be recharged and will not be taken as part of the two technician allocation. Visiting company technical riders must be submitted within four weeks of the performance in order to guarantee crewing and equipment levels. 12 Health and Safety Health and Safety at Work Act Watford Colosseum operates a strict Health and Safety Policy and expects all visiting companies and staff to adhere to this. Would all incoming companies ensure that their employees or contractors work with in the Health and Safety at Work Act. Important Information for Visiting companies and Hirers: All electrical equipment brought into the Watford Colosseum by visiting companies must display a current pat test certificate. All events at the Watford Colosseum must provide an up to date risk assessment for their event specific to this venue. Dressing Rooms The venue has 6 Dressing Rooms including 2 band rooms over 2 floors. We have 1 star dressing room which has an en-suite. There are 2 x phone lines accessible from this room. Please speak to stage door for access to the lines on arrival. Wi-Fi is available backstage. For access to the Wi-Fi system, please see stage door on arrival. Please note it is public Wi-Fi across the whole building. If dressing room key, towel, iron or kettle is needed please ask stage door If lost towels are charged at 10 each. Iron is 35, Kettle is 25 and dressing room keys are 25 per key. If you require ice these can be arranged via stage door. We have a water dispenser in the corridor for company. There is a dedicated Band Room/Catering Room/Green Room. 63A single phase power is available within this room for catering facilities to utilise if required. Gas bottles will not be permitted within the building. Unfortunately candles or naked flames are not permitted in dressing room areas. All electrical equipment must be PAT tested and display a valid PAT test label.
