9 1. Senior Leaders Alignment Senior teams set the tone for company culture. The foundation for a powerful resilient and agile architecture is the recognition and ownership from the senior team of the value of robust and empowering coaching conversations. a) One awareness session. Each of your leaders will take the Alpha Assessment (see Appendix I) and have the opportunity to participate in a personal awareness session with one of our coaches to experience first hand the power of coaching so they in turn become advocates of the ORA Architecture Program. b) 1- Day Workshop for your members of your leadership team to experience first hand the power of both professional and peer coaching sessions. During this time the team will design and start to practice the new ways of communicating and participating in their leading personal and organizational growth. (see key topics of the Workshop in Appendix II)

10 2. Coaching Survey The Survey will allow us to benchmark the most common coaching conversations and interventions that are important to develop your organization. The Survey will consist of approx. 15 questions that have been co-designed by Internal Coaching Sponsor and the SARGIA/CAC team. The responses will be a combination of answers selected from a multiple choice set and open-ended responses. The Survey will be conducted online and the data will be compiled by our team for review. We will provide a report to the Internal Coaching Sponsor and then use the data to provide context as we design the internal coaching model.

11 3. Developing the Internal Coaching Masters Creating an internal adaptive capacity to roll out coaching throughout the organization, where skillful coaching becomes part of the company culture. This workshop will ensure the company has strong go-to people throughout the organization that will provide the anchoring and expertise that will set the standard for all coaching conversations. Internal Coaching Masters will be trained by Hendre Coetzee the Founder of the Center for Advanced Coaching s on his 90-Day Turn System Coaching Model (see following ) and will also receive subsequent certification from CAC as certified internal coaches for your organization. 1. Select the internal coach candidates from the senior management level 2. SARGIA assesses their coaching profile with Alpha assessment 3. The Coaches undertake a 3 +1 day Master Coaching Training (see Appendix III)

12 4. Design the In-house Coaching Model We work with you towards an In-House Coaching Model Design using the 90-Day Turn System as a baseline. This will lead to co-creating a custom coaching process that matches your company s culture, values and lingo so you can generate the best results from and with your own people. We will use the responses from the survey of step 2 to create the foundational model and then build a resource lab of 5-7 common coaching interventions in the organization and the suggested and techniques to manage these scenarios. Coaching Model structure will include 1:1 coaching sessions, peer coaching structures and cross-functional coaching structures.

13 5. Train the Trainer Program The objective is generate proficiency in situational coaching conversations in the workplace using the newly developed In-house Coaching Model as it s foundation and train the coaches to deliver effectively the Coaching Skills for Managers workshop a) Mentoring: As the internal Coaching Masters start their practice with the 1:1 coaching, they will have access to our coaches for support b) Effective Coaching Skills for Managers Workshops: Selected Managers will be trained in the In-house Coaching Model via a 2-day accelerated, intensive immersion-style course. Learning methodologies includes round table lecturing, 1:1 practice, large and small group sessions.

14 6. Company Wide Roll-Out & Mentoring This co-designed Coaching Model is rolled out throughout the organization in preset stages in order to ensure ownership and buy-in from every part of your company. This roll-out is a simultaneous Top-Down and Bottom-Up approach and is rolled out through comprehensive internal marketing strategy to advocate the value of coaching within the organization. At this stage also a mentor Group of SARGIA Coaches will be available to the internal coaches as they practice their skills and knowledge as follows: i. On site Coaching Clinic with a SARGIA coach available two days per month ii. On call mentoring of Internal Coaching Masters by a SARGIA Coach

15 7. Sustainability SARGIA/CAC will provide the following to support sustainability: Annual Coaches Training for refreshing their coaching skills and reformatting of the coaching model to include the newest and most relevant coaching tools, techniques and be able to address more current scenarios inside the company. Training of Internal Coaching Masters on additional coaching interventions, tools and protocols (such as agility, resilience etc.) based on an as need analysis.

19 The Program Coaches He is the author of the 90-Day Turn System a Customizable Coaching Program Suite. This coaching structure has been used by Fortune 500 companies and dedicated consulting services firms to create a custom in-house coaching processes for Sales, Engineering, IT and HR teams. Hendre Coetzee Global Executive Coach & Founder of the Center for Advanced Coaching Hendre launched a new program called Kings and KingMakers this year which invites executives to explore their leadership style and life/career stage, generate refocused vision, acquire different skills and produce meaningful and purposeful outcomes. He has over 20 years of experience within the corporate domain, realms of social justice, non-profit and relief and development work across the globe. He has worked with Boards, Executive Management and Sales Teams in over 50 countries. Hendre s experience varies from working as a facilitator for the integration between black and white youth in post-apartheid South Africa, to negotiating mergers for large financial institutions, to developing performance- training modules for High Performing Traders on the NYSE and NASDAQ. 20 The Program Coaches Carl Daeche is an experienced, innovative and accomplished award winning designer of leadership and personal development programs for the largest employer in London. He is a confident, skilful and persuasive communicator with a proven track record of influencing sustainable organizational change. A successful leadership coach and high level facilitator working with individuals and teams to improve performance and unlock potential. Between 2001 and 2010, Carl was the principal Leadership program designer for the Metropolitan Police Service in London. His success at designing practical, transformational learning experiences, supported by qualified and regarded leadership coaches changed the way Police leadership development has been delivered to over 15,000 people across the United Kingdom. Carl Daeche Leadership Coach As a founder member of the Metropolitan Police Leadership Academy Carl was responsible for the design of the learning environment and values based transformational leadership programs, staff training and selection. With his passion for creating the delegate experience, knowledge of current leadership thinking and eye for detail, he created a program that influenced and inspired tangible and sustainable cultural change. Carl received the prestigious Queens Award for Innovation in Police Training. As a qualified performance coach (Dip, Newcastle College, England), Carl works with clients to establish direction and purpose that will lead to better performance, both in work and in life. In 2007, he was instrumental in the creation of an internal coaching program, becoming the first Policing organization to be accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Since 2012 Carl relocated with his family to Greece and now brings his wealth of experience and knowledge of leadership development to SARGIA Partners. 21 Appendix I: The Alpha Assessment An awareness tool that allows leaders to rate their alpha characteristics and to recognize themselves in the four distinct alpha influence types. Provides the client with individualized recommendations on the strengths and risks of each of the four typesfacilitating the Alpha client in self-reflection - a skill that is often difficult for Alphas. The client s Alpha Profile then becomes the base the coach uses to develop transformational coaching structures tailored to the specific strengths and risks of the alpha client.

22 Appendix I: The Alpha Assessment The Alpha Assessment was developed by Kate Ludeman and Eddie Erlandson, industry-leading executive coaches who work with some of today s primary leaders and most successful companies. The Alpha Assessment was the primary tool in researching their bestselling book, The Alpha Male Syndrome published by Harvard Business school in developing Alpha Methodology, over 15,000 Alpha surveys have been completed worldwide and 1,507 subjects.

23 Appendix II: The Senior Leaders Workshop This one-day workshop is planned for introducing the Senior Leadership Team to the: 1. Organizational Resilience and Agility Architecture Program 2. Principles and practice of performance coaching and enables them to discover the true power of coaching within organizations so they in turn become advocates of the ORA Architecture Program. They will practice new skills, tools and behaviors that are the basis for creating success in your organization.

25 Appendix III: The CAC Advanced Coaching Mastery Course The Advanced Coaching Mastery (ACM) is a workshop designed as an accelerated, intensive immersion-style course tailored to develop mastery in the science, art and business of people development. Learning includes lecturing, 1:1 practice and small group sessions. Participants will learn and practice the specialized competencies and frameworks to masterfully manage coaching conversations. They will explore the latest evidence-based change technology and developments in leadership coaching, and master the coaching skills of diagnosis, assessment and developmental planning in this immersion-style four-day certification workshop. Graduates earn the prestigious and recognized Advance Coaching Master (ACM) designation.
