The City of Railroad extends throughout the Park. CenterPointProperties CenterPoint Intermodal Center Offering quick access to both I-88 and I-39, this 338-acre park on the west side of provides single-day access to nearly every major Midwestern market. The park is located next to the UP Global III Intermodal, and sites are build-to-suit, for sale or lease. Crossroads Commerce Center This 130-acre park straddles I-88 to the north and south, and offers immediate access to and visibility from I-88. 6 Business & Technology Park The Business and Technology Park demonstrates our commitment to the information technology industry. We already house data centers for two Fortune 500 companies, plus the RMU Technology Center. This 160-acre park offers: Connection to the NITT The NITT (Northern Illinois Technology Triangle) is a looped, broadband fiber network secured along three interstate highways, which connects to the Chicago fiber hub. The NITT ensures instant transmission of large volumes of data, along with superior redundancy, and provides high-speed data transmission which connects businesses to world-wide opportunities. Communication Services All lots have been designed with complete diverse access to the fiber networks. Three, 96-count diverse distribution fiber bundles, encased in conduit, are installed within a private easement located within the Technology Park. This distribution fiber is connected to external fiber networks at four independent access points. Municipal Utilities Local Control and Service Municipal Utilities is city owned and operated, and provides low-cost, highly-reliable electricity, water, and sewer. Our utility rates are competitive, and we regularly invest in infrastructure and partnerships which will continue to provide highquality, low-cost service for years to come. RMU is also an ISP, providing fiber-optic broadband to your site. Technology Center Access Our RMU Technology Center is designed to meet sophisticated data-storage and co-location needs, gives all area companies access to several major data carriers, and is connected to the NITT.
